Clabo signs with Dolphins

Teams have to either pay a player or cut that player, the latter of which affords a player the opportunity to find another team. What Waters did was akin to a team refusing to cut a player AND refusing also to pay that player.

I see.

So teams never alter agreements and ask players to take a pay cut.

Got it.

Tell that to Doug Free.

Your 'case' against Waters is terrible.

Give it up.

This team?

With their track record for failure?

Why do they get any benefit of the doubt?

Because Beavis, even with all their "failure", they still know infinitely more about this game and those that play it than you or me.

The point is teams obviously realized wasn't Waters wasn't completely into football. NE took a chance on him, and it blew up in their faces in 2012. I'm really not sure why you can't grasp this point.

The results speak for themselves.

Because its utter garbage.

Lie to yourself, don't lie to me.

Ugh!

While we sit on our hands!

:banghead:

Morons!

This is the Waters situation all over again,we have the cap space to sign this guy but refuse to help Romo out and wonder why our offense is so up and down.

Tell me more about Bobby McCray. I'm fascinated by your analysis of him.

Some wonder.

Others know why.

Scrub taking up $1.3 million in cap space.

All you need to know.

The rest isn't worth the effort.

Some know the names of the Cowboys players.

Others don't.

I know the ones who matter.

And the cost of those who don't.

But you go get your McCray jersey and fork over your money for tickets for a .500 team.

Billion dollar franchise. Constantly in prime slots on TV, with the highest ratings. Sold out forever. Biggest fan base of any team in the league. Apparently we have our pick of any FA we want, if we could just make the money work, because they all want to come play here. Guess you're right. They don't win enough games. They're pathetic.

Like I said, lowball....

Wow! That number surprises me. That should have been a doable contract in Dallas.

We must be counting on Parnell as the starter, and the only question is who backs him up.

But good news, we have Danny McCray back for just $1.3 million!

Now that one...dead on. Need good ST players, but not for that.

stasheroo;5077899 said:
Yeah.

Great info that Waters proved to be completely wrong.

But that's like most of the information the Cowboys have as it pertains to the offensive line.

Wrong.

And you continue to try to make excuses for mediocrity.

How so?

(This should be good...)

stasheroo;5077914 said:
The 'good reason' was because he felt he outplayed his contract (which he did) and playing another year at that price wasn't worth it.

Good for him.

stasheroo;5077920 said:
He wasn't beholden to the NFL and could afford to walk away.

Hardly makes him a headcase, despite your weak attempts.

stasheroo;5077922 said:
No.

The team would have cut him.

The other side of he coin.

It works both ways.

He reached a point where the rigors of an NFL season wasn't worth it and he walked away.

stasheroo;5077923 said:
And teams always honor their end of contracts?
