So Moon, Theesman, and Flutie......and that's pretty much it. nuff said

And that is reaching if we are talking about great careers. At least in Flutie'se case. He has done some good things, but is far from having a great NFL career. Theisman is closer to greatness and of course Moon is a HOFer.

I think Vince Ferragamo played in the CFL for like a year and then came back to the NFL. I don't think you can say he had a great career either but just as an FYI thing.

That is a discarded Quincy with drug problems who beat out Ray. That says quite a bit about Ray. He wasn't beat out by a QB that came into the beginning of training camp with him. Quincy came on a couple of weeks in after Dallas released him. Ricky can only dream of having half of the career Carter has already had. That is the sad reality of the matter.
Quincy was handed that job with no competition, due to his "vast" NFL experience. LOL. What the Jets did was a joke.

Even at almost 40 yrs old Johnson is 1000 times better than Maddox. Maddox's elbow was toast after that hit he took a few yrs ago. At least Brad can still literally throw the ball.
Very debatable. Johnson only throws the Q-like dink & dunk to the RB's.

I agree. They could have had Brad Johnson for Christmas Sakes.

And yet Ricky could not stay on as the 3rd QB on the team. I understand your concerns with Johnson, but you got to bring something better to the table than Ray and Maddox. Neither guy was on a roster last season. You may as well say that I am a better option.

CFL means nothing, few guys who play in the CFL will ever make it to the NFL, a small number of guys have but for the most part the CFL players are not good enough to even be backups in the NFL. 2 different leagues with 2 very different talent levels which is why they are stuck north of the boarder instead of playing in the NFL. So when you brag about his CFL career who cares that means nothing at all.
LOL. Ray remains the CFL's best QB & highest paid player. Hopefully he'll get a legit chance to show his stuff in the NFL. The CFL a joke? I think not.:)

"Q?" As in Quincy Carter, the quarterback which even the great Ricky Ray couldn't beat out?

Just asking.

Another reason why he is not an option at this time. NFL teams can't just sign a current CFL player under contract. Will he be released from his contract and allowed another chance in the NFL? Until he is, then he is not an option for any team.
