Coaching AND team management matter.
I don't understand how Jerry Jones can watch Robert Kraft return to the Super Bowl year after year and concede that his ownership and management style (Jerry's) does not work. After 23 years of the same sad results any sane person would've thrown in the towel by now and vowed to go a different route.
Just look at the teams that are going to the Super Bowl every year. Every single one of them with the exception of Al Davis' Oakland Raiders have had an owner that stayed out of the way and didn't try to play personnel guru. And even in Al Davis' case he was a long time coach, owner, and commissioner. He at least earned the right with his football acumen to interject on personnel decisions.
The blueprint to success is literally staring him in the face and he refuses to follow that well worn path to success.
