In other words, you made it up. You have no factual data stated in a business contract which backs up your assumptions
No. It’s not made up. I laid out very clearly my thoughts and if you can’t follow them, that’s on you lmao

Again…

If an athlete doesn’t care about winning at the highest level, get off my team. He’s violating his requirement to perform at the highest level he can.

It is not "your" team. You are not part of that equation. You sit safely on your couch while the games are being played.

Zero Superbowl rings..... they may or may not be similar, but this is a team game.

Which quarterback between the two, had the better WR corp, running backs, TE, defense, coaching staff/play calling and play design???

Exactly...

It's hilarious how people try to make it look like one man is responsible for the success of a whole team.
Unfortunately one guy is greatly responsible for the short comings the last few years and you know who he is. His pathetic performance in games is a main reason for failure. 0 SB wins, that’s the only true statement, the other guy 0 CCG appeared in. It takes a team effort unfortunately Dak decided he’s not part of that effort come playoff time

Nah…

It’s my team. Without me, and millions of fans like me (and you for that matter), there is no team because no one would care. Fans are invested in this and have skin in the game. Spare me your Pharisaical moral grandstanding. Any fan logically and obviously should expect players on their favorite professional teams to care about winning at the highest level as a requirement of their job. Coaches and organizations who coach and pay these players expect that requirement even more so than fans because they have more invested.

This is a stupid hill you’ve chosen to be massacred on dude lol

Sports are a different animal than a regular job because there is something called championships and legacy that play heavily into a player’s career. Because of that, across all genres of sports, it’s not unusual or unheard of for star players to take less money over the course of a contract in order to maximize the opportunity for a title. As a fan, I expect players like Dak to care about winning as much as they do getting paid. I don’t give two hair’s off a rat’s arse that he historically broke the bank. I care about winning championships and expect players on teams I follow to care about that, too. I personally think there is a moral imperative for professional athletes to pursue championships as diligently and fervently as they do money and they need to properly balance those two things.
What percent of players in the NFL do you believe are more interested in ”legacy” than how much they’re paid? The kind of football you’re talking about is played on Friday nights.

As a former player I know the toll it takes on the human body. All athletes and former athletes do. Someone sitting safely on the couch as no skin in the game. It is ok to have passion for the game as a fan

It is illogical to attempt to live vicariously through the accomplishments of pro athletes which many fans crave. If you have achieved your own personal accomplishments you should understand this is merely a game.

Any joy you get as an observer is a blessing not a necessity. It is entertainment at the end of the day. Do you consider yourself part of your local grocery store? How about the cornerstore? Do you say "we did it" every time they ring someone up?

Same logic with some people acting as though they are part of a professional sports team.

Legacy is way down the list of priorities of a professional athlete I would imagine and admittedly, it’s a small percentage who actually care much about that. Championships are more of a demarcation than legacy when it comes to balancing what an athlete gets paid with what they want to accomplish as a pro. I want players on my favorite teams to prioritize winning titles as much as they do getting paid.

BS. Part of their job is to win titles and that goal, as professionals, is innate to the job. Period. End of story. No one playing professional sports should be out there just to cash a check. Wanting to win at the highest level is endemic to the job and an absolute requirement.
If it’s not stipulated in the contract it is not a requirement. Playing for pay in the NFL is whatever the Players’ Association says it is. You don’t like it change the channel to “Andy of Mayberry” re-runs.

I don’t care a whit that you’re a former player.
I don’t care a whit that football as a job is also entertainment. It’s still a job with requirements and responsibilities. Players have more invested than fans OBVIOUSLY, but that doesn’t mean fans have nothing invested and by extension shouldn’t have expectations for the players on the teams they follow.

Yeah, I’ve already laid out my argument for contracts not having to specify EVERY requirement for a job position. Scroll up and read. My argument hasn’t been debunked or shown false by any measure.

Cowherd is a blabbering idiot. Purdy isn’t great, but he’s accomplished more than Baker Mayfield. Mayfield is having a good season, but he also leads the league in turnovers, which will kill the Bucs in the playoffs if they make it. Their playoff hopes last season ended with a Mayfield turnover. Outside of Mahomes all the QBs are overpaid. It’s the NFL we live in these days.

Daks contract has killed the locker room.
Yep, they don't respect him and will NOT play for him.
Our players are not stupid after all these years they have grown tired of carrying the Mr. 240 million $ man.
First spotting of his Deer in the Headlight look the defense stops caring.
A prime example was the 1st half of the GB playoff loss no way could Dak turn that game into an offensive shoot-out just doesn't have the talent for it.
P.S. Does Anyone remember the last shoot-out game we've ever had where both teams scored over 30 points the past 9 seasons?
Not a game where we are down 20+ and Dak does his Garbage 4th Q thing.
Anyone?????????????

And I don't disagree that he came up short. But did you also realize that we led the league in penalties for multiple seasons as well? That means many people on the team came up short including our quarterback.

I wonder how many quarterbacks had success in the playoffs with a team leading the NFL in penalties for 2 or 3 straight seasons.

Now you speak of the other guy appearing in CCGs and a Superbowl, correct?

Well Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles won Superbowls and Dan Marino and Jim Kelly didn't.

So according to your logic, Dilfer and Foles were better quarterbacks than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly, correct?
