Dak was on pace to pass for almost 6,800 yards while shattering Peyton Manning's NFL season record (5,400) by almost 1,400 passing yards...

...but Andy Dalton is just as good as Dak?

:lmao::laugh::lmao::laugh::lmao:
Passing yards is the most overrated stat in football

I said the same when morons were saying Dak couldn’t put up big numbers @CATCH17

Dak is a 11-15 tier QB. He's not franchise and not worth 35-40 million per year. He's still slower than elite at processing the field and his accuracy leaves something to be desired. His first year appears to have been an exception and not indicative of his norm. IMO, he's not worth franchise QB salary and Dalton is just as sufficient (maybe better in terms of accuracy and QB measurables as he was the fifth QB picked in his draft class) for a lower salary. He also seems to be a good Christian and family man. Sign him and draft a future franchise QB.

Dak is in the top 5. You’re clueless

LOL....Top 5????

So who are you bumping out of the following list to put Dak in the Top 5:

Mahomes
Rodgers
Wilson
Jackson
Brees
Cousins
Allen
Watson
Brady
Roethlisberger

That's 10 QB's right there that are better than Dak and you could argue there are several up and comers better than Dak so where are you getting Top 5 QB from is beyond me.

LOL You forgot to mention Dalton had his biggest game against Philly in the 2nd to last week of the season with the division title on the line......something Dak failed to do last year against Philly.

Dumbest take of all. I knew some idiot would have this take.

I hope you’re joking? Explain to me, pretty please, how Dak has this same offense without the same starting linemen averaging 450+ yards a game and 30+ points a game while Dalton hasn’t been remotely close?
Dak had Zack Martin, what are you talking about? He also had Smith some of the time, and wasn't entirely dependent on 3rd/4th/5th tackles.

And yes, a decent chunk of that was garbage time against defenses that were giving up tons of yards and points to everyone to start the season.

The only competent defenses Dak faced the team struggled to put up 20 on the Rams, and his numbers weren't good in the segment he did play against the Giants. Easily worse than Dalton's in that same game.

He didn't face anything close to the Washington defense.

Agreed. Personally I think Dak is around the 9-12 range.

You sure about that? I usually dont agree with Colin but cant argue with the facts.
Colin has been a Dak naysayer since he took the field in Los Angles in August 2016

Every passing stat Dak has been superior. And I’m not talking traditional stats

And the fact that 50+ of Daltons points have come off turnovers and kick returns

Look, its Dak > Dalton but Dak doesnt deserve a 35m / year contract. He is right when he says there hasnt been a massive drop off, its noticeable but for 35+ a year or 20 and under a year....the contract doesnt justify the performance. Have we all forgotten what Dak was prior to us trading for Amari?

i think it is more massive then people think. dak is around top 10 qb...dalton is around bottom 10 starting qb. that is a huge difference. i was a do not pay dak person but that was because i just want to rebuild the roster but jerry wont do that and dak would give them the best chance so what ever.

now if they can get dalton on another $3M contract or what ever he signed then that is a differnt story. but he will get $15-20M a year i would bet!

What has Dak done since his 2018 season????? A combined record of 10-11......yeah, a below average winning record. So if you want to credit Dak for wins you can credit him for losses too.

You realize Dandy was 1-4 heading into Cincinnati? Then the Cowboys defense started forcing turnovers by the boatload! You forgot that!

He just knows how to win! Where was that winning vs the Commanders? Where was the red headed Wondah vs the Ravens? Putting up garbage yards late in the game! He just know how to win

Just not against the Cardinals, Redskns, Ravens

cant argue with that debate on the gap..Colin is dead on on all points but age and longevity comes into the mix etc etc

if Dak comes in harder then last off season and wants 38-40 im going to have to be on the dont pay dak side..if he will take 35 or less team friendly deal, id rather have dak.

the debate holds true not just dak vs Dalton but keeping dak or

bringing in a vet that FA this off-season, might be quite few available..

Passing yards is not overrated. It helps determine a QBs passing abilities.
Anybody know where last years(Winston) passing yards leader ended up and how big of a contract he got?
Not too good ....right DaksCowboy?

P.S.Change your name here to the above simply more suitable for you!
