Oakman looks like the Blade Runner with those tiny calves of his.

He skips leg day for sure. I stay away from Oakman; Baylor chased his potential for years and it just didn't work out. He's a better athlete than football player.

Alright kids, now shut up so we can watch this second group of DL's run. There shouldn't be a single person on this forum who should be happy with our DL right now.

Hayden and Mincey
What's not to like?

We do need back ups

No they weren't. Unless a December mock from a San Diego paper said so.

Aikman was shaking Landry's hand the week of the Cotton Bowl during practices. Odd for a second round pick to get that kind of treatment.

That's correct.

Landry was all set to take Aikman, but then was fired. Jimmy and the staff weren't that familiar with Aikman, but were told that Landry and the staff were all set to take him and then they saw Aikman work out and watched film and came away saying (to the effect) 'if Aikman played at U. of Miami, not only would we have gone undefeated, but we would win every game by 50 points.'

Peyton Manning was considered the QB prospect. Ryan Leaf surged in the draft thru his senior season, almost out of nowhere. Nobody at WSU liked Leaf, but he turned things around his senior season and Jim Mora, Sr. said that Peyton had been on the radar in the NFL for a while. And the only reason why they took Peyton over Leaf was they asked the question 'what will you do when you sign your rookie contract' and Leaf came up with the typical answer of going to Vegas and celebrating with family and friends while Peyton said he would ask for the playbook so he can learn it right away and hit the ground running by the time camp starts.

The only question about Peyton was that he wasn't nearly as athletic as his ole man and he had such hype around him that there were questions if he could live up to that hype, but they didn't doubt he was a first round pick.

And the incident with the trainer was a little bit of a deal. Just no Internet then. Just Kiper's blue book and Buchbaum's bible.

Round and round we go.

You might get Deion Sanders, you might get Adam Jones.

You might get DeMarcus Ware, you might get Dion Jordan.

You might get Aaron Donald, you might get Johnathan Sullivan.

QBs don't have it copyrighted. It's the draft. There's risk everywhere. You're not drafting players on the fear of the worst. You're drafting them solely on the projection of your scouting department. If you don't trust your scouts they shouldn't be employed.

Here's another one for you that might want to consider and this one trumps any and all of your QB bust horror stories in this QB driven league....

You might be one of the haves, you might be one of the have nots.

Exactly
People act as if Ramsey and Bosa are sure fire HOF stuff and the QBs are the only ones that can bust
