I think it's funny to see the Skin's fans completely ignore post by Adam and Myself when they get too detailed to refute, while instead saying classic lines like...

"Sean does everything Roy does and can cover", which as pointed out by being 32nd in the league at giving up runs of 10 or more yards, he clearly doesn't.

But whatever... I can understand how it could be confusing to fans that don't really understand the game how two positions with the word "satety" in them could in fact be different posistions. Next we can discuss how Jon Janen is a better Tackle than Chris Canty and how Portis is a better Back than Polite.

next...

sorry- i dont have time to respond to every attention starved homer on this board. and who are you quoting? i never said that.

you might want to know that taylor plays free safety, not strong safety. taylor excels in pass coverage and he can hit like a train. i have no problem saying he's taken bad angles and missed RB's. it just doesnt happen very often, especially since its not his primary responsibility.

while we're on the topic- if Roy is the man at run support, what gives with giving up 98 to dayne on 7 carries, 115 to tiki, and 143 and 3 scores to larry johnson- as in, your last 3 games?

probably not a good time for you to be bringing up run defense stats.

nitwit.

how is pulling a win out of your ***, humiliating an opponent?

When they do it at our house....on the same day they are putting the tripletts into the ring of honor, when we had pretty much beat them throughout the game.

I say it was humiliating as a cowboys fan.

That loss bothered me more then any other loss this year.

haha, taylor hits harder than roy??? please, i remember him getting hit hard by some nameless running back back in college, it was so funny, the guy just ran his over and jumped over him and proceeded to score a td. Oh, and roy you say??? well he has one of the best plays OF ALL TIME in college history against my longhorns(and it does hurt to admit that!) so, when i see something in ANY lever about sean taylor having a "game changing performance" and him not being ran over, ill start to agree that he is even close

If memory serves...it was Greg Jones FB of Jax.

Thats just the point, an "up and coming star". To bad Roy already is one, darn it. lol Commander fans are priceless, and I mean worth nothing.

Sorry Roy is in what? His fourth year compared to Seans second Sean is not even in his prime moron. Wait till he is in his prime than start comparing him to toast williams. It's amazing how ignorant Cowboy fans are. They think they are so special because of that lame blue star on their helmets.

I was addressing more than just you... the line I was quoting is easy enough to find.

I certainly know that Sean is a FS... which is why I said that several times in my first post in this thread and more than once since. In fact that was the whole point of my comment with regards to not comparing FS to SS. In the future I'll talk slower and use smaller words.

The reason I posted the Skin's stat with regards to the run support was in response to the other skin's post on how Sean was just as good as Roy in all aspects of Roy's Game.

Finally... As again I stated in my first post... our D-Line against the run is listed as 29th in the league. I'm sure that has much more to do with our run D than Roy. Roy is doing his job, not letting runs break for over 10 yards. Again... a simple glance at my earlier post and the stats to which I refered will show this.

your 'D-line' is listed as 29th? serious question- where did you get this stat? nfl.com has you all at 13 as a unit, where do you get the stat about the line? (i like stats...)

Sure... let's start with your name "Commanders". Many Native Americans find it offensive.

Next, let's go with your former owner George Preston Marshall. Here is a little quip about him:

"We'll start signing Negroes," Washington Commanders owner George Preston Marshall once quipped, "when the Harlem Globetrotters start signing whites."

In 1961, the Commanders were the only team in professional football without a black player. In fact, in the 25-year history of the franchise, no black had ever played for George Marshall. Sam Lacy, the gifted black sportswriter for the Baltimore Afro-American, called the Commanders football's "lone wolf in lily-whiteism." Their owner was "the one operator in the whole structure of major-league sports who has openly flouted his distaste for tan athletes."

Now... let's look at some of your players and their brushes with the law. A couple of these players have played for both of us.

Sean Taylor – Several infractions
Dexter Manly – Possession of Drugs
Mike Sellers - DWI
John Riggins - PI
Timmy Smith – Drug Trafficing
Deion Sanders - Trespassing
Billy Kilmer – DWI
Kevin Ware – PI
Jermaine Haley – DWI
Dana Stubblefield – Assualted his wife
Marlene Cooke (wife of Jack Kent Cooke) – DWI
Ray McDonald – arrested for having sex with another man in a public park.

You also have two more of infamy:
Dave Kopay
Jerry Smith

If you aren't sure what their claim to fame is see Ray McDonald above...

Pretending that Dallas is the only team with players of questionable character is ludicrous. Every team has had players with problems. "Our felon is better than your felon" is not a viable excuse either.

Clearly, I am just an insignificant bystander to your smack greatness. I am, in your presence, as a flea to a Gazelle, a mite to an Elephant.

In your smack, I am humbled.

I don't like NFL stats... they use things like yards from scrimage. Well if you are the 2004 Pittsburg Steelers and your offense is on the field about 65% of the time, then you are going to have less yards from scrimage than say the Patriots. That doesn't mean the D is better.

I use stat sites that try to evaluate each part seperately.

The 29th is from www.footballoutsiders.com

They also run all of FoxSports stats now.
