Very good post. I too feel he is trying to "earn" his contract and putting too much stress on himself to do so. I don't think it's any lingering injury, and I didn't think it was one last year. In my opinion, a lot of his problems are between the ears, which I'm sure you know can be as bad as a physical injury.

As far as the haters go, the vast majority go away when he plays well. I know we have a crowd here that doesn't , but overall I think most folks just wanna win. When you earn that kind of money playing arguably the most high profile position in sports, that puts a bullseye on you. Whether fair or not. I don't think an "I told you so" would go over very well if he plays lights out. I think he needs to act like he's been there before, like a Novacek or Barry Sanders.

Just my two cents.
You're two cents are worth a lot

the TEAM becomes pumpkin ion the playoffs, shall we forget 14 penalties (had zero effect on teh offense huh), bad play calls, bad execution, etc etc et defense allowing the run game to control the game , defense allowing the offense to score on the first 4 drives Those are acceptable as long as we call out Dak huh, daks supposed to overcome poor team play now? ..lmao

can we ban fans ?? i wish we could...:huh:;)

Dumb, just because the rest of the team sucked too, doesn't let Dak off the hook.

I like this offense MUCH better than the 3 points the Dak led offense put up for us Week 1.

This offense ends games with more points than the opponents.

Do you like wins or do you like pretty stats instead?

You keep going back to the first game where no one played well not even our defense was that good. The offense hasn’t been the reason we’re ending games with more points than our opponents it’s been our defense and kicker. Knock off the agenda and try opening your eyes! We had a measly 10 first downs on Sunday, reaching the redzone only twice which is the first time since 1970 that the Cowboys won a game with 10 first downs or less and you’re going to credit our offense with that? We would be no better than 1-4 and possibly 0-5 if it wasn’t for our defense keeping opponents out of the endzone and Brett Maher nailing practically every FG attempt he’s had. The buck is going to stop real soon with this offense if it doesn’t get a lot better and we don’t start scoring more points. Mark my words!

I had a very similar situation as a coach.....unfortunately, I'm not allowed to share it....but, I will say this. Dak is the starter for a reason, when he is 100% or at least close to it, he needs to be on the field. Rush has done a great job and KM has too. My hope is that KM learned that he doesn't need for Dak to throw 70% of the time. I hope that Dak has learned to be patient and not check into passing plays as much. I feel that he is constantly trying to justify his contract...he needs to wipe his butt with his haters and just play football.

I agree with you
Rush is a nice story but he’s a back up.
I’d still start him against Philly because Dak is not totally recovered and I’d rather have him come in against Detroit and Bears

So far Cooper has outplayed DAC this season if you look at the stats except for the Rams game. What anybody doesn't really know is king cooper throw for 300 yards and a couple of scores can he be a little more aggressive in the passing game and win. That is something they should find out versus Philly this chances are they're probably going to lose that game if they are too conservative on offense. And I would say this if they do open things up offensively for Cooper and he comes out and he plays a good game and they win they should keep rolling with him and if he loses they should put dak back in that is their plan and if that plays like he did verses Tampa they're not going to win very many games.

So that fact that he had a piss poor defense doesn't mean anything? Figures....those that don't like him have blinders on...
As a world renowned high school coach you should know that throwing the ball all over the field isn't the best way to overcome a bad defense. Playing smart, ball control offense is your best chance. As Cowboys fans we've seen exactly this happen in the recent past.

The jury is still out on which QB is the better option going forward. They are both flawed in their own way. A case could be made for either. We're going to find out soon enough.

yet he has NOT are they are rotating in and out of games, i forget. oh wait to try to say one outs played the other without them both being switched out in the SAME games is ridiculous. Daks outplayed rush for 5 years..NEXT that was easy

Just own it.

You would take any QB over Dak just admit it. This is one of the most putrid offenses I can ever remember the Cowboys having and you’re loving every minute of it.

7th year and our QB1 is figuring it out, while the back up is doing enough to win games.

Dak better light it up when he starts.

100%

Now, your turn.

That’s just how low your standards are. You only signed on here to tire fans out with your Dak agenda. You and poopy dog are like two peas in a pod. I’m done wasting anymore time with you.
