Cooper Rush is a decent backup. That is all. Quit with the nonsense.
If Rush is better than Prescott then he should fetch some high draft capital in offseason cause we surely won’t be able to resign a top 10-15 QB as a backup .

I’ve asked the Dack Hacks about this and all I get is crickets.

Lions are a tough out for most teams. They were a fumble at the goal line away from taking the lead on us in 4th qtr.

They’ve had some other heart breaking losses . Dan has them going in right direction. They have 2 wins in a row. The Bears are another story .

The Bears' problem is that they can't stop anybody. They seem to be able to hang 30 points on just about any defense and nobody has yet figured out how to contain Fields. Frankly I don't think there is any way to consistently stop a 6'4" 225 pound QB with sub-4.4 speed from running the ball. This kid is not some skinny little whelp like RGIII or Lamar.. He's a big ole man who can run away from pretty much and defensive lineman in the NFL not named Micah Parsons. Teams will have to completely revamp how they play defense against what the Bears are doing.. and frankly I don't think one week is enough to do it. Now if they were to play the Eagles and Ravens first they might have a chance.. because of having seen it twice already.. but as you know.. nobody will have that luxury.

Dak isn't crippling the Cowboys with his contract. You do know we are many many millions below the salary cap, right?

Amari Cooper is the reason Amari Cooper was traded.
We released them cause they were underperforming to their contract. And we also intended resigning Gregory. That left much of our almost 20 million in Cap space available. That we chose not to use.

Granted, it's 5 games for Rush, compared to four for Dak, but it's still a stat that stands out.
After a 4-1 start, Cooper Rush has 1020 yards, with 5 tds and 3 interceptions.
Dak has a 2-2 record in 4 games, 856 yds, with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
I was actually surprised to see that Rush is still leading in stats, especially since he played against the Giants, Eagles, Bengals, and Commanders, and Rams.
Dak has faced the Packers, Bears, Lions, and Buccaneers.
Make of it what you want. But Rush has 154 yds more than Dak, so the extra game isn't really an issue.

The stats say nothing unless you interpret them.

And there lies the problem: Interpretation is not trite. In fact its takes a lot of knowledge to do it.

To take some stats made by some mediots for the mainstream viewer for sure isnt the way. They are meant to easily compare, to generate discussion and therefore revenue. They are made for entertainment not for serious comparison.

Kellen Moore is the single worst play caller in the nfl not named Nathaniel Hackett . He’s so bad you have to wonder if he’s actively sabotaging the team .
Jason Garrett 2.0, learn from the master and get yourself a 10 year HC gig lol

So you are comparing Dak to Brees and Stafford? LOL

I can't compare Dak to Brees until Dak's career is over. But Matt Stafford's record vs winning teams is 11 - 74. Hold that one for a minute. Dak already tops that production.

But you brought up having one playoff win in 7 years concerning Dak. But I show you other quarterbacks who've had the same one playoff win in 7 years or more and you tap dance around that. Stick to that same production conversation by those other quarterbacks as well.

This one has always been bogus since we have yet to reach the end of year 7 .. so anyone with any intellectual honesty would rail against "one playoff win in 6 years" and quit trying to make it more than it is..

I don’t know why everybody so hung up on Prescott salary. It means absolutely nothing and it didn’t stop us from doing anything. Everybody says Prescott sucked against the Packers. And Rogers was so great. How is great playing against somebody that supposed to suck. I’ll tell you what sucked , was the run defense
How has his salary not stopped us from going out and getting more players to help stop the run? Of course it has. Prescott's salary means there are going to be holes elsewhere on the team. Now you might say "well all QBs are making that much now". And to that I would say even so, those teams that do well in spite of the large QB salary do so because their QB can make up for the holes that their salary leaves whereas our QB can not and will not EVER be able to do that.

Cooper is not taking this farther than Dak. Dallas lost due a defense not being able to shut down the packers and wonder boy taking away the ground and pound

Nobody is even insinuating that rush is a top 10 ish QB. Literally no one is saying that

Your question is based on the faulty Dak Davidian notion that Dak is a top 10 QB, therefore anyone who says Rush is better than Dak must be saying that Rush is a top 10 qb

Neither one is a top 10 QB

That's why no one is answering your question. It's based on a completely false premise. There isn't a soul on this board saying Rush is a top 10 QB. He can be better than Dak and still be far short of top 10

Rush only threw five TD passes in five games. Dak has thrown six TD passes in three games and has a rushing TD. We averaged around 21 points a game with Rush at QB and are averaging 33 points a game with Dak. Our production and points has gone way up since he took over. Those of you who would rather have Cooper Rush at QB are out of your minds. Rush is lucky he’s not playing with the defense we have now.

I guess it was Dak ghost playing week 1.

I guess those 2 ints that lead to 14 points were the receivers fault.
