We win 5-6 games in 2024. Tops. As usual Jerry waits 2 years too long to clean house. We've witnessed this **** show many times

Yes. The usual low brow Dallas fans with this sort of insane rhetoric. Trade a sure hof guy for two first round busts picked by the worst GM in the league.
Parsons needs to maintain this level of play for 4-5 more seasons to get to the HOF. But the point is that we could have a situation soon where 4 guys (Diggs, Parsons, Dak, CD) are consuming 50% of our cap, and it’s not like we are trying to hold a Super Bowl team together. So, something has to give.

Half the board here see's no difference between 12-5 early playoff exit and a 5-12 team. So does it really matter?

Which way builds a SB - 3 studs with no depth or a balanced team

He's tradeable being he is on his rookie contract. Does this sound ludicrous?
With yearly talent in the draft (and cheaper, too) I canna see a No. 1.
Perhaps, me pig iron urchin, 2 No. 2s?
If you agree, holla. If you do not, then go eat a sandwich.

We can't get anything for trading Parsons because Jerry won't allow it.

In the Mack Trade they got pick 24 and next years 1st(19) and a 3rd and 6th but had to give up their own 2nd and 7th. So the value in actuality, was more like a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Micah might get you more but I doubt it.

In a re-draft Micah Parsons goes Top 5. Yes we can trade him for a top 5 pick but there's no reason too.
We can draft a QB later and play Trey Lance this year... a top 3 OVERALL pick.

We save 35M in Cap by releasing Prescott if he fails to take a team friendly deal

Here is what it might look like if you traded Micah.....kind of implying a soft rebuild, followed by an all out rebuild the next year.

So instead of pushing Dak's contract down the road just let him play this year at 60 million and then don't resign him.
Contracts CD 4yr 28mil/yr, DLaw 2yr 12mil/yr, Restructure Zack Martin, those 3 moves should get them back above the salary cap(-13mil right now).
You would really have to backload CD's contract but after one year the team will have Cap Space because no Dak contract; besides the Dead Money.
Resign- Tyron Smith, Rico Dowdle, Johnathan Hankins, and Dante Fowler Jr.

Trade Micah Parsons to the Arizona Cardinals- Dallas gets 27, 66, 91, 134. Arizona gets Parsons and M. Gallup. Cardinals would still have a bunch of picks left over.

Draft
24. WR Keon Coleman (6'4, 215) Florida State
27. T Jordan Morgan (6'5, 325) Arizona
56. DE Brandon Dorlus (6'3, 290) Oregon
66. C Zach Frazier (6'3, 310) West Virginia
88. RB Audric Estime (5'11, 225) Notre Dame
91. CB Mike Sainristil (5'10, 185) Michigan
134. S/CB Jaylin Simpson (6'1, 180) Auburn
174. DE Jasheen Davis (6'3, 260) Wake Forrest
202. LB Tyrice Knight (6'2, 235) UTEP
213. LB Nathaniel Watson (6'2, 245) Miss State
234. WR De'Corian Clark (6'3, 215) UTSA
245. CB Beanie Bishop Jr. (5'10, 185) West Virginia

QB- Dak, Lance, Rush
RB- Estime, Dowdle, Vaughn, Luepke
WR- Lamb, Coleman, Cooks, Tolbert, Clark, Turpin, Brooks
TE- Ferguson, Schoonmaker, Stephens, Hendershot
LT- Tyron Smith, Morgan, Richards, Bostic
LG- Tyler Smith, TJ Bass, Richards
C- Frazier, Hoffman
RG- Martin, TJ Bass, Ball
RT- Steele, Morgan, Waletzko, Bostic

LDE- DLAW, Dorlus, Wheat, Fehoko
3tech- Odighizuwa, Golston, Fehoko
1tech- Hankins, Mazi
RDE- Williams, Fowler, Davis, D. Johnson
MLB- Knight, Watson, LVE?
WLB- Clark, Overshown, LVE?
Big Nickle- Bell, Overshown, Mukuamu
Slot CB- Sainristil, Bishop Jr., Simpson
LCB- Diggs, Simpson, Scott Jr.
RCB- Bland, Simpson, Wright
SS- Wilson, Mukuamu, Bell
FS- Hooker, Thomas, Simpson

I don't think Dak will agree to be traded. Might as well make one last push with Dak as the QB. Trading Parsons would give you a lot of depth. It would definitely hurt the pass rush, but the overall team would be better.
Just an interesting exercise to see one option the front office could take. Will this scenario happen? I doubt it.

Dude you look at some of the trades the last few years and saying never looks pretty dumb
I'm still waiting for those trades that have gotten multiple top 10 picks for a non QB in the modern NFL.

Obviously what I said "looks pretty dumb" due to all the multiple trades for defensive players for multiple top 10 picks that have occured....but being dumb....I just can't find them.

Please advise and post them.

Dak also does not want to play on a 1 year contract and risks injury and next payday. So he maybe more open to a trade that he approves with an extension.

Depending on our schedule (5 wins against the Egirls, Giants and commodes) I would say 11-6 and thus begins the decline.

Why do people want to trade away one of the best pass rushers in the league? I don’t get it.
The main reason is that if the Cowboys keep the offense together, Micah will be leaving when his rookie contract is up.

You would rather get something for him while he is young and top of his game than getting nothing at all.

jimmy might, but jimmy isnt here, jerry is.
And jerry doesnt trade away star players unless they anger him like cooper did.
Jerry will keep guys like dak, parsons, and lamb till they are too old to play, just like tyron smith.

Parsons wants out, but it will be hard for him to get out of dallas, and away from jerry.

lolol you guys are insufferable. trade Micah? you *** serious? he's one of the reason why this defense was halfway successful this year. he masked the stank that manned the linebacker and defensive tackles positions. He still makes Tank serviceable, will get Armstrong paid. hes the most double/triple teamed player in the nfl yet still has the most pressures of any defensive player. Ceedee also getting heat from our fans? You guys lost your minds.
Well somebody has to take the heat for Dak choking. Throw them in the mass grave of corpses he's got going under his home football field.
