Could The Pacman Cometh to Dallas?

Could this be the "surprise" way of getting a "Wow" palyer...I hope not.
Then again we are talking about Jerry Jones and he's taken chances before.

I'm glad you brought this up i didn't get a chance to read this the first time and being able to read it this time around was cool because this is defintley interesting. I wouldn't be against bringing pacman in we can still get a strong CB in the draft and have 4 strong CB's in TNEwman PAcaman Henry and developing rookie. I think he needs to be reinstated.

Until he can show that he's willing to change he shouldn't be reinstated. He was warned to stay out of clubs but he keeps going back to them and getting in trouble.

I haven't heard about him getting in to any trouble.

He was at a club when he was accused of hitting that woman. While he proven innocent of doing that he was still at a club when he was told to stay away from them.

With an out clause in the contract it's interesting. Playing wise, one thing we know about him vs anyone in the draft is this guy IS a playmaker and a game changer. The question is cost. The Titans would easily start at a 1st round choice plus as the asking price. That is a steep price, because you might end up exercising that out clause. If you did that, you've thrown away a first round pick plus whatever else was thrown in.

I don't think the Titans would trade him for anything less than a #1 pick unless they had decided to otherwise release him. The guy is a big-time talent. I don't think they are going to release him as they probably would have already done so. ...unless they plan to make a move before the draft, but there hasn't even been rumors about anything like that.

If you call going some where you aren't supposed to go in the first place an improvement then I don't know what to say. :laugh2:

I'm appauled at how many people want to take a chance on this POS.

This is not what the Dallas Cowboys are about. Yeah we have taken some calculated risks on a few players but this is not one Jerry wants on his resume. It took us nearly a decade to clean up our image. Jerry doesn't want to go into the new stadium mentioned in the same sentence as the Bengals.

Please give Jerry more credit than this.

well considering what happened the last time he went to a strip club i consider it an improvement.

you've surpassed your average post per day plz don't post again for the next week :laugh2:

Pac Man is a very good player and a great punt returner. I would LOVE us to bring him in. He would be a GREAT 3rd CB on this team.

Legal issues aside........................................

Third? I think you've been smoking something. He wouldn't be the third cornor on this team.

I would not give up any picks or trade a current member of the team for Pacman. If he does sign I would hope Dallas would structure a contract to protect themselves against Pacmans stupidity

Ummmmmmmmmmm what would he be than a 2nd?

I actually think that Jones could and would make a great 3rd cornerback, given his shiftiness and ability to cut. If the move were made, I would keep Henry outside and play Jones as the nickel corner/punt returner.

I have no problem with that Pac Man a very good player; it's just the way I read that at first I thought you meant something like he would be a fringe player at best.

Pacman: I'm changed, ready to play

Suspended Titans CB still interested in going to Dallas

ATLANTA (AP) -- Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones says he has changed the way he conducts himself in public and is ready to play football again.

When and where he will play is still uncertain.

Jones appeared as a guest Thursday on WCNN-AM "The Fan," in Atlanta and said he is still interested in playing for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Titans met with Jones' agents in January and the team is expected to try and trade the cornerback once he is reinstated, which may not be until training camps open in July.

Jones was asked questions about his frequent visits to strip clubs and run-ins with the law. He also discussed horses, bowling and his friendship with Tennessee neighbor and country music legend George Jones.

If it takes draft picks, a big signing bonus or multiple years, I say pass. A one year, incentive laiden deal, OK.
