Could The Pacman Cometh to Dallas?

so he went to a strip club didn't get into trouble i see that as a vast improvement =)

The problem is that since he's been suspended he has been in trouble, more than once, from hitting the woman, to getting into other various trouble. He's managed to not go to jail on any of them but it's the fact that he continues to go to the same type of places, put himself in the same type of situations, and get himself into the same types of trouble that continue to keep him out of the league.

He's an idiot and thus doesn't deserve to be allowed back in. When he proves that he can be less than a stupid person then he could look into getting back in.

He would man the cornor opposite Newman

You're both wrong. He wouldn't be a 2nd or a 3rd on this team cause he obviously wouldn't be smart enough to stay out of trouble where he could actually, you know, get on the field.

He'd be the cornerback in charge of defending his personal sofa all year.

That article, right there, talks about the two issues (one in Georgia and the big one in Las Vegas) that got him suspended in April of 2007.

Then if you read the Clayton piece that runs right down the side of it he mentions the fact that there were conditions to his being allowed back in that he has broken on at least occassions, including being out after midnight and driving around without his license.

At the end of December, or early January, this year he got in trouble with a woman accusing him of having attacked her in a club. She later withdrew the complaint, but again, the fact that he put himself in such a position, when he knows what he's suppose to be doing to get back in the league, shows he's not real smart.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2866310

That story documents where, barely a month after getting his 1 year suspension, where he went out to a nightclub the night before he was to meet with the commish about getting his suspension reduced, or changed. Again...not the smartest guy.

http://www.nflgridirongab.com/2007/12/07/pacmans-legal-troubles-far-from-over/

Another article talking about the stuff surrounding his situation in regards to the nightclub shooting that was one of the things that got him in trouble originionally.

And those are just a few links I found on the things that have gotten him in trouble, and continue to keep him in trouble, by simply typing in his name and looking for just a few moments.

The guy is an idiot, he's trouble, and he deserves nothing better than what he's getting right now.

I'd hope that if Jerry had the opportunity, that Jerry would take a flyer on Pacman Jones. A second chance at playing football could be a really good thing for Adam.

And it could be a potentially damn good thing for the Cowboys. But if it doesn't happen, and all of this is merely a fantasy, then so be it. The Cowboys are going to be a very good team with or without Pacman Jones.

If it takes draft picks, a big signing bonus or multiple years, I say pass. A one year, incentive laiden deal, OK.

That would be the beauty of bringing in Pac Man with his legal issues I don't see how we would have to give up anything. The Titians will cut him once he is reinstated. Worst case we give up a conditional 7th. And as far as money UNTIL he proves he has turned a corner in his life we will sign him for dirt cheap with incentives............. Makes perfect sense to me and we fill a MAJOR hole 3rd CB plus the outstanding punt returing abilities he brings to the table.

We should trade for him to not get into a bidding war like Walker got the dividends on. I think realistically it would be a fourth.

And trust me some team will see the value of pac-man and bid against us. Heck the Raiders would just throw 10mil a year at him.

he said that a few weeks back.

We don't want him.

Do you have any idea what kind of strip clubs are in Dallas? He wouldn't make it through the preseason.

I heard on ESPN news that Pacman Jones wants to come to the Cowboys any thoughts.
if he can change his personality and lifestyle and friends and no guns and no strip clubs and....well if he can STOP being Pacman and just be Adam Jones, maybe....maybe

That's why the guy will never sign with Green Bay. The feature dancer in their best club clocks in at 180....

He would be a nice piece on the field and everyone deserves a second chance. I question whether he's been humbled by what's happened. I might would give him a chance if he could be had for a bag of peanuts. Not much more than that because his "leashe" will be very tight if he's reinstated.

Would be a good move if we can get him for cheap.

He knows one more **** up and he's done for good.

If we could get him to accept to a Tank type deal, sign him.

I'm not sure which is more likely: Pacman at the corner - OR... Pacman at the coroner.

What a travesty for us fans if he were ever added to this team.

How would anyone root for this scumbag or why would they?

Pacman would be a great addition. All we have to do is lock him up in a cage. And only let him out during practices and games. That would be GENIUS!
BTW, comes with meals & showers too.

For very minimal cost I would take a chance on Pac changing his ways. Who knows, 2nd chance at the NFL he may calm down.
