Cowboys among five teams reportedly interested in Pierre Garcon

Wrong Commander. Get me Jackson.
No way do I want that head case in our locker room. A wannabe thug, ME-1st idiot. Garçon all day. Unfortunately, this is a crumby rumor at this point.

Give me neither. Both benefitted from a very creative offensive design. Jackson is a low life to boot.
Fans complain about Dez's limited route tree. Jackson runs like three routes. Deep inn, go route, and some variation of a go route, like a hitch and go or slant and go.

And he had more targets than DJackson. So basically he was their #1 receiver and Cousins looked for him more than their #2, Jackson.

Yes..that's correct...Djax isn't a high volume, #1 WR...

69 catches for 1,008 yards.

That is the pace Williams was at during Dez's three game absence, if you apply it to 16 games.

Kirk Cousins made 606 pass attempts

Dak Prescott made 459 pass attempts

We don't pass the ball enough to have more than one prolific receiver.

Romo made 439 attempts in 2014. For you Romoites who might be quick to use the low attempts against Dak. I know how you think!

What we need to do is re-sign Williams and make him the number one option. Let Dez feed off the scraps.

2nd time I've heard this, both from Commanders beat writers. I'm pretty sure this is Garçons agent going to work early before the FA period begins.

Ironically I heard on Cowboys radio that the Skins are high on TWill and he's on their list.

This is fake news because who wants to stay with the Commanders?

I've always liked Garcon's game. He's not an impact player, but I do think he'd bring something interesting to the WR group. We need a vet WR2, whether it's Williams or a comparable FA like this one. Those guys are available. Then we need to add a speedster finally from the later rounds of a deep WR draft. The nice thing about both Williams and Butler being not-exceptional is that there are plenty of reasonable options for replacing them both.

The guy is a good route runner.

Not going to happen. Someone will waaaaaay over-pay for his services and it won't be Dallas.....

I think he stays in WAS is they want him, but he's not the sort of player likely to get a huge deal at his age.

On a related note, what's the story on Alshon Jeffrey? He's missed some games the last few years, but he was shaping up to be a monster. Then he got the franchise tag and dinged for PEDs in the same year last year. He'll be one to watch for a big deal on the open market. Eagles are reportedly interested.

Kirk threw the ball 606 times. Dak threw it 459 times.

So if Dak had thrown the ball 606 times, do you think Williams would have been a 1,000-yard receiver?

Williams had the third-most catches for us at receiver behind Beasley and Bryant, and that's with Bryant missing time. Add in Jason Witten and Williams was fourth in line.

Garcon was the No. 1 target for Cousins. So when Cousins was throwing the ball, guess who was getting open the most?

Yeah..it helps that's he's a better player

Better players usually get open more often..usually get more targets

No. It helps when your qb throws it nearly 200 more times and you lack a number 1

Oops. I'm late. Already addressed.

I would take Boldin on a cheap one year contract.
I'd do two, The thing about him is that he's never been particularly fast or anything he's just a great route runner tough son of a ***** and has really really good hands none of which fade due to age

I like how people say " ain't going to happen" I seriously doubt you know what Dallas will or will not do
