This right here is a definitive statement. The word "reporting" does not alter it as a statement of fact. He has not confirmed this information.

He makes a statement of fact, and THEN says, basically, "Well, maybe, I dunno. I think so."

Have you heard these radio guys before? None of them are exactly stable human beings. Guy just doesn't want to look like a liar if it doesn't work out so he's just being wish-washy.

I don't really care that much about the cheap part. As long as the Cowboys protect themselves in case they have to cut him, what they pay doesn't really matter. We worry way too much about money around here IMO.

Some fans seem to only draw satisfaction if we got a bargain, as if that really means anything as far as play is concerned (see Ha Ha Clinton Dix). If Dallas determines it wants Thomas, whether it takes $3 million, $7 million or $10 million is up to them to work out within the cap structure they have in place.

I imagine legit reporters like Jane Slater’s sources don’t know anything because the Cowboys are now working in silence so normal sources don’t have the info but maybe there’s leaks with the fringe sources or on Earl Thomas’s side.

Or maybe the Cowboys specifically asked their close sources not to say anything.

Tucker is kind of an Eagles wonk. Grew up an Eagles fan, did some preseason Eagles games in the past and he's a regular on Philly radio stations.

While I can see his point on Nolan, suggesting McCarthy isn't an upgrade on Garrett is pretty funny.
