Because a lot of people on this message board say no to everything. You could literally have Atlanta give us a first round pick and Julio and people would say "no, let's just go with what we got "At this point, I have to ask: Why not? Even if at one time he was a cancer, whatever contract he could score now would not be cap-restrictive to the point that they couldn't cut him should he turn out to be one. As it stands, Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith's aren't what I would call givens to start for the entire year. Behind those two is largely inconsistency defined. Granted, our expectations would certainly have to be tempered considering his hiatus from football, but I can't see the hurt in at least giving him a shot.
