I'm sure Warmack can learn some blocking schemes, he has the physical tools.

What physical tools would that be?

Average height and arms?

Poor lower body explosion?

Slow feet, poor balance, and slow in general?

so then all the experts and scouts that ranks him as the top G in the upcoming draft are wrong...

Just to play devil's advocate, scouts and GMs have been wrong on players before as we have seen quality players go undrafted. So it is possible.

True but c'mon, they spend a lot of hours checking film, exchanging information with other scouts, experts and coaches... at least they should have a lot more information than we do. I'm pretty sure they know better than us, trust me... if not, NFL franchises are screwed.

How about his game film and oh yeah! Those 2 national championships where he was considered that teams best o-lineman.

Bama's QB is terrible in every aspect of the position.

So I'm assuming this is his agent trying to stir up some noise for his client?

Plus, do we have any money to sign him anyways?

My guess is, either the Cowboys called Rosenhaus (or vice versa), and asked what they were looking for in terms of a contract, and it went no further. So technically, they were "talking", but nothing of significance. Rosenhaus is doing what an agent does, and that's drum up interest for his client. Ever wonder why anytime a big name player hits FA, we almost always seem to be mentioned as a possible landing spot. Jerry spends money, and no team creates interest like the Cowboys, so the hope is that another team will take the bait.

Also, just another case of Schefty being Schefty with his "in depth scoop" reporting.

Eric Winston specifically mentioned he's in $3-4 million range on short term deal but negotiable talking w Kirwan/Ryan on Sirius/XM

Eric Winston's opportunity with Cowboys is tied to Doug Free's willingness to reduce $7 million salary. That's obvious.

7 million for free wow meh!! More like vet minimum is what he should get.

Yeah this is getting crazy. We've seen this a lot more lately for some reason.

Shefter started it and he's missed on a couple stories about our FA negotiations lately.

Some strategy from his agent to get other teams interested... anyway, i hope we could sign him.
