According to the recent past Draft visits and the current GM ramblings, Dallas would like to trade down for a WR in the Draft and sign a FA Vet. @ QB.

Sign a vet QB in free agency?

Didn't we try the vet QB route and ended up 1-10 without Romo?

Would rather stay in the top 5 and draft Goeff from Cal.

Yep. People keep talking about going defense early in the draft but our defense actually looks good. And I imagined they'd create more turnovers if we had leads over teams and forced teams to become desperate. What's clear is we sorely lack offensive talent besides Tony, Dez and the OL. I wouldn't mind going QB in the 1st and RB in the 2nd. Or even if we prefer a guy like Wentz, we can trade back 10-15 spots, pick up a bunch of extra picks, and still get our top QB and RB.

We drafted Lawrence and Gregory very early. Both second round picks. I agree totally with us not going dline top 5 but I would look at linebacker top 5. Couple of guys coming out are beasts.
