Oh I'm pretty sure I've already learned.
Congrats. And now you can go back into hiding.
Oh I'm pretty sure I've already learned.
Any idea on the contract?
Seeing as though you have only had 43 posts since 2009 I'm going to go out on another limb and say you're either too scared to post or your rarely around. Which makes your comment laughable and unreliable.
Stick around long enough and unless you are complete homer you will learn quite quickly who gets what right around here and who looks foolish year after year.
I am going to go out on a limb here and surmise that there werent any suitors or not very many considering he is still unsigned. But no doubt I will get chastised because "there is no way I can know that for sure"
This development should serve as proof positive that the Cowboys' staff is "beating the bushes" in a desperate attempt to find and sign a reasonably respectable cornerback. Boykin appears to be the last available CB to possibly fall into that category.
If and when healthy, Boykin has proven capable of contributing respectable play. Of course, the "if and when healthy" designation is a key qualifier.
Let's just say if any team has proven itself willing to take an outside chance on someone with questionable health concerns, the Cowboys are, without question, serious contenders for that distinction.
Yep, I think this is an indicator that the coaches aren't satisfied with the depth behind the top 3 guys. This flies in the face of Stephen saying that they prefer internal guys to step up and fill holes rather than go out and pick up a veteran.
Leon Hall and Antonio Cromartie are still out there also.
This is a guy you sign after Week 1 so his salary isn't guaranteed. Too risky.
That excuse doesn't fit when talking about a vet minimum contract that counts only 680K against the cap. Same as a rookie.
Or they are just looking at more depth for TC competition as a chance to improve the team. Just because they sign a player does not mean they are dissatisfied with who they have.
Hopefully that's all it is. I'm all for adding competition. Could be that they need another slot cb with Scandrick still on the mend.

Sign him in Week 2, and you only pay per game played. Nothing guaranteed.
First, learn the difference between "your" and "you're."
Second, having 4000 posts does not make a poster any more credible than someone with 40. Especially when the person with 4000 posts never substantively discusses football, and instead just whines.
Just FYI.
First.....................do you know the difference between you're, ur, and your? How about LOL and Laughing out loud? How about FO and front office?
Anybody that critiques grammar on a football chat room is a clown.
I only correct the grammar of those ridiculous enough to refer to other posters as "laughable and unreliable." One should at least have some elementary grasp of grammar before slinging that kind of criticism. And yes, the content of your "rebuttal" proves my point, so thank you for that.
