How he turned out is irrelevant to the point I made, and does not support what you are saying about injuries.

Not working out well for the Cowboys doesn't somehow automatically mean he was injured frequently in the 4 years before he was a Cowboy. The fact that he only missed 5 games in 4 seasons prior to becoming a Cowboy is easily verifiable.
So you're going to refuse to admit you were wrong about this Washington signing that turned out exactly as I said it would...a total dud, injured and non-contributing waste of a roster spot?

You're too proud to admit you were wrong? You're one of those types, huh?

Is this the only FA signing that didn’t work out? Y’all just complain to complain lol not only is this the only one that didn’t contribute, but we pivoted and signed an upgrade mid-season.

Can’t win em all. Last two offseasons have yielded solid FA results. Not gonna cry over James Washington not working out.
Washington, Poe, McCoy, Fowler, Sprinkle.

Thats just the last 2 years. Continue to blow smoke up this FO's butt please.

What was I wrong about? I never praised the signing or expected Washington to be an outstanding player. It seems you're fabricating an argument that has nothing to do with what I posted to cover your false statement about injuries.

Fact of the matter is this FO did nothing in FA. Again. And continue to think you can build a winner solely thru the draft. And that is fine. You want to feed us that garbage cool. Stop taking risks in the second round on morons like Joseph and draft STARTING PLAYERS. This hubris and arrogance of this FO is just mind boggling.

Massive front office failure. They actually targeted this guy and signed him early in free agency. Then drafted a project in the third round who has been equally as bad. Really poor job replacing Amari.
Exactly, correct!

Then we get the Dak haters talking trash all season long and blaming Dak for our lack of a pass production, instead of blaming the dummies who have failed at picking up good talent to replace the departed Amari? Unbelievable.

If he was just going to be inactive in the playoffs anyway, why not release him. You don’t play guys in the playoffs who haven’t really been on the field or proven themselves during the season. TY has already proven himself in a short time. Maybe Tolbert has been stepping up in practice. Maybe we need the spot for another C coming up from the practice squad. I have no issue releasing a guy who has done nothing. Maybe if he hadn’t been injured in preseason, he would be #3 or even #2 by now, but he was and hasn’t played or contributed. Move on.

Roster spot.

Try again.
Uh, no. Washington was on IR until December and not taking a roster spot until then. Ridgeway was on the PS and plucked from there back in September or early October. Can’t remember who it was early in the season that was taking a 53 man spot from Ridgeway, but it wasn’t Washington.

Exactly!

Some of us could actually make better decisions than this team's decision makers do.

Cooper Rush. Instead of putting Dak on IR they cut Ridgeway to bring Rush in.

I don’t know that I’d call it a failure. No one could predict he’d be injured in camp and never available until the end of the season.

Other QBs have been able to produce well without top grade WRs but not your GOD DAK. THAT is on him for not doing better with what he had

Cee Dee Lamb was already on the team. He wasn't a replacement.

Yep:

Cooper >>>> Lamb
Gallup >>>> Gallup
Lamb >>>> Washington

That was the progression. Cooper was replaced by Lamb as the #1. But then who filled Lamb's spot as a very high level #2 or #3 WR (depending on where you viewed Gallup)? That's right, James Washington.

I also don’t think they expected to get as much out of Noah Brown as they have.
