I don't agree with that take at all...if the cops didn't arrest him that morning with fresh bruises, they aren't going to go back in time and believe some story of abuse in the past

we have no idea if EE was nice, mean to or promised this girl anything...every thing else is just speculation
true bk, it is all speculation, but if he was nice to her,and didnt promise anything do you really think she would do this??
The only one who knows is E and her, and maybe some of their friends.

All I know is if you treat people right, they usually dont press charges against you. It is possible, but out of the norm.
If you treat people poorly then this is the sort of thing that might happen.

IDK, break-ups never go well.......I'm sure he was very nice to her at some point and visa versa

But only one of them is EXTREMELY wrong in this case...if he did hit her or if she is lying...the rest is normal

its just hard to believe that a woman would go through all she has to go through in these type of investigations if it was all just lies but money is the be all and end all to most people I guess

While I understand your perspective, I don't really have any sympathy for some of these athletes who put themselves in this situation.

So you think you're going to bed a woman and skate? You date a woman known to have multiple relationships with men and yet you still proceed?

Hopefully, situations like this will make men be a little bit more cautious in their dealing with women and exercise greater care than the "hit it and quit it" mentality.

I'm guessing you're not 21, and old enough you can't remember being 21.

This season has a dark cloud hanging over it before it even begins.

Lawrence, McClain, Gregory getting suspended, Zeke getting accused of beating a chick up, the team bus wrecking, heck i'll even throw in another 2nd rounder that may not be any use to us ever.

Super Bowl this year? Probably not.

The lack of positivity before the season even starts is just not a good sign for what is to come.

Sometimes these kind of circumstances provide a spark

Then the system is broken.

Yup, like a lot of things where one perceives the advantage of becoming a victim via a claim ............there is no downside risk, when exposed as a charleton, they get to walk away. Lena Dunham a prime example...........instead of being run out of town, tarred and feathered....she is glorified. That encourages others to take similar action with only upside potential.

The fact that she is pressing the issue to go forward says she may not be a total liar as some think.
She could be saying her relationship was abusive, not just that one night or incident.

I sort of think Elliot made some sort of promises to this girl like when I get the check I will do this or that, and then when he got it,
he said bye bye.
And on top of that he could have treated her poorly, and got rough with her. Not saying he did, but it is possible.

And about the police, that is in the area where he was the big star at ohio state, and the police may feel as many here do ??

My thought is this, if Elliot had been nice to this girl, and not made promises he wasnt going to keep, just to string her along and do
what he wanted, and then broke up with her in a civil manner , I dont think this would be happening right now.

Wow! you really went out there reaching for a conspiracy. Maybe she, unlike Elliot, has nothing to lose and at this point she is only trying to save face.

I was really nice to my X wife but, but ......oh well, being nice has nothing to do with it.

I've watched enough Cowboy football to know that off the field negativity carries over to the field probably more than any other team.

This team is a weak minded group that loooooves to find ways to lose.

When years like 2014 start to become the norm then I will forget about it but 2014 is slooowly becoming 2007 all over again. A distant memory.

I would just have to disagree with this, respectively. This is more of an indictment of you than anything else.

Let's just see what they do first..

You think wrong. There are legitimately spiteful, spoiled, crazy people out there.

She's one of them.

It's for sure broke. Had everything I worked for since I was 16 destroyed last year. Identity stolen he only got 7 months in jail for doing it to me and another guy. He's out and doing it again. My score is down to 530 when it should be at least 750.

Exactly. And, conversely, if she has fabricated this story, she should pay a heavy price for doing that. If not, she's doing damage to their entire judicial system and to the real victims of domestic violence and that should not go unpunished either.

Yes, definitely. If she is lying then she should be held accountable as well. And I agree they should really come down on her hard because this does hurt the real victims of DV.
