Ha, I wish. This dude just seems like a liability to me. Maybe I shouldn't have said "hate it" but I strongly dislike it, I hope he probes me wrong.

One of the top strong safeties in the game today, Bob Sanders dominates on the football field. Even though he is shorter than almost every other player on the field, he still capitalizes on every opportunity he gets.

Jim Leonhard (5'8" 185)

Antoine Winfield (5'9" 180)

Agreed. And generally speaking, we are sticking to our big program/conference guiding principle for player selection. No more small school or lower division "gems"...early round picks are from proven commodities competing at the highest level. The secret to our draft success Big Willy style.
And with the 27th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select S Bryon Jones from U Conn....
Oops.

Hey were them folks that said Dallas would get antsy and trade up to beat the DB run?
Here.. still think they should have. How many starter quality CBS in this draft? We are extremely young and will get torched at the end of the day. Thought it's best to not pull a Carolina and do a total rebuild in one season. Then thought we'd use some draft capital to get guys ready to start. Just not sure we are going to get into the POs with a total rebuild of 2nd and 3rd round guys.

I wouldn't be too worried about his height except for in the red zone and even then I would just put him against a receiver he can better defend. The guy tackles better than Awuzie and every corner I've seen in the draft. He looks a lot like Rhonde Barber out there.

He appears to have great ball skills/awareness and didn't give up many TDs in college. His arms are also similar length to many of the 6-0 CBs taken early. So hopefully it won't be a problem.

Exactly, there is a football joke I heard something like 20 years ago.

Q: What do you call a WR with bad hands?

A: A Cornerback

that is what gets me when so many complain when a DB drops a pick. THAT is why they are a DB and not making a lot more money as a WR.

There is a difference between. Horrible, Mediocre, Average, Above Average, Pro bowler, All Pro. When it comes the physical traits neither guys are elite(Allpro) They are in the range of above average to Pro bowler. That doesn't mean they can't succeed but these guys aren't athletic freaks.
Didn't Josh Norman run in the high 4.4-4.5 range?
Sherman?

I see him as an Orlando Scandrick type that will actually play the ball

I'm willing to bet any "undercover NYG fans" you conspiracy theorists think exist would be laughing in your face. They got a DT to replace Hankins, which that line held Zeke to under 100 yards twice and we just drafted a midget/jockey compared to the "tight end" they drafted and Brandon Marshall. It's a horrible mismatch which is why I'm po'd about it. Penalty flags galore or Eli can just throw it literally 16 inches over Lewis' head and he won't have a chance at it.
Easy tiger. No one said who they were taking about ;)

Please enlighten me where I'm wrong or would you like to mark this post and come back to it after he gets smoked against Marshall and their new "tight end"? Please, I honestly want to hear how you expect a 5'8, 188 lb back to consistently cover a 6'3 240-250 lb receiver without holding which is what every article I've read say is one of his biggest weaknesses.
Exactly. Darrell Green and Aeneas Williams were known for being burned regularly. Mathieu and Thomas are crap safeties too.

Revis an inch taller. Etc. etc...

Well coming from a guy whose name is "jerry must go" I really don't think you can look at this draft or team in an unbiased way.

By the way the ones that was saying that didn't want them to trade up but because they don't like jerry (hmmm) was throwing crap at the wall.

Im sensing a theme here. Both CBs they picked aren't guys who physically wow you with athletic traits. What sets them apart is the competitive drive they have as DBs. Looks like they are looking for tough minded Dbs. Guys who aren't going to sulk after they get burnt one time. Come back and fight harder.
Awuzie is a SPARQ champion type athlete.
