It's every year after the 1st or 2nd game. Panic mode sets in. Last year it was the Cowboys need a WR, year before it was something else, this year it's RB.

You are completely ignoring the situation he was put in week one. Emmitt Smith couldn't have done better. No RB could.

So why are you bashing a 6th rounder for only getting 12 touches in the first 2 games of his rookie season?

We all saw what he could do in the open field on Sunday.
I’m not bashing him, I’m just telling you for him to get more opportunities, he’s going to have to make plays with the few that he gets. Many fans here thought he would have a lot more than 12 touches after the first two games. One fan predicted he would lead the team in touches this season. Lol I get there wasn’t a lot of room on his running plays, but he’s got to manufacture something. Zeke didn’t get any passes from fans when there wasn’t any room. They continued to complain that he doesn’t break runs. Everyone fell in love with Pollard, because of the big runs he produced. This is why he’s been given the opportunity he has now. It’s going to take a big play or two for Vaughn to move ahead of Dowdle. One electrifying play may be all it will take because Dowdle isn’t anything great.

Bashing a player is saying they suck and shouldn’t be on the team. I haven’t come close to bashing him.

Week 1 - The running game looked great in bad weather.

Week 2 - The running game looked below average against one of the better run D's in the league.

Both games, we did not have all our starters on the O-Line.

I am not agianst getting more talent, but I would give it a couple of weeks before I worry too much about it. JMHO.

Yikes on Pollard. You have a long of 23 and still averaging 2.9. I didn't like the move back then to franchise tag him for that salary. Didn't learn our lesson that RB is just not a position you invest a ton in. Pollard was a great change of pace back. As the main guy when the defense is fresh all game? He's below average.

It was actually outstanding. They had the ball for 42 minutes and beat one of the best defenses in the league by 20 points.
2.9ypc is outstanding? Lol. Y'all are talking yourselves into it. Pollard hasn't been effective at all this year. And the salary he is making? Not good.

He hasn’t made the most of his opportunities. He only averaged 1.3 yards on six carries in the opener. Yesterday he had an opportunity to convert a third down but he bobbled a pass because he took his eyes off the ball and came up short. After the first two games he hasn’t been impressive.
That's ok, he's a rookie.

The Jets can stop the run. They did it against Buffalo too. The Cowboys running game with Pollard and Dowdle was good enough. I don't think the Cowboys running game has clicked yet but I think it will.

I guess some conveniently forget that even when Zeke was in his prime he even got walled up against certain defenses. Our offensive line has done a marvelous job pass blocking but perhaps still working on run blocking. Also racehorses are not plough horses.

Dowdle has looked good to me for what he is supposed to be. Vaughn and *ducks* Pollard have both been underwhelming.
Tony … 3.6 ypa so far.

Not good.

I mentioned his lack of top speed after the first game.

I think we cut Jones so we could have roster flex if we have a need later. BUT maybe we already have a guy we want in the works. I am thinking its a guard. If La'ell Collins would be willing to be a guard, I might try it. We do need better depth at guard and hes done that before. I bet its him or Risner we sign.
