Luepke cannot get on the field. YOu need to sign Fornette Or Hunt and keep pollard as the primary but heavily rotate in hunt/Fornette on short yardage. Bucs won supperbowl doing that with Fornette
Fournette is even more washed than Zeke. No thank you.

He hasn’t made the most of his opportunities. He only averaged 1.3 yards on six carries in the opener. Yesterday he had an opportunity to convert a third down but he bobbled a pass because he took his eyes off the ball and came up short. After the first two games he hasn’t been impressive.
I guess you didn't see the screen pass for 12 yards and his 13 scamper. He looked electric. Let's hold off judgement until he gets a few games in.

Copy cat league. I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry saw what McCaffrey did to the 49ers last year. I wouldn't mind bringing in a huge talent this year for a 1st. Wouldn't have to be a RB either. I'm fully on board going all in for a SB this season.

I don’t love some of schemes we are using, but given Pollard has the lowest YPC of the group I’d say it’s says more about scheme and blocking than our 2nd and 3rd RB

His overall number speak for themselves. We can’t afford negative carries and bobbling passes that should have been a first down because he took his eyes off the ball. We’ll see how he pans out.

Broadus is an idiot, Jets have one of the best run defenses in football. I love the rotation

On 105.3 the FAN right now .

They aren’t overly impressed with Dowdle & Vaughn.

Vaughn was used to early in the game according to Broaddus.
I would try and sign Kareem Hunt at nothing dollars per year. I would try and snag Mike Evans.
I don’t want us to be one weapon short invade Cooks can’t stay healthy and we need him be more threat.
Load up and try to win the SB. This is the year

I'm willing to give these guys a chance. It's only 2 games into the season. So far they seem to be getting the job done. I'm still good with giving Deuce touches. He is definitely going to have his "welcome to the NFL" moments, but I still think he is capable of breaking off some huge chunk plays.

I wont be surprised if they bring someone in. In fact, I'm more surprised they haven't yet done so. I assume they just don't like what's available on the market. I assume they will try using Luepke at some point. If that doesn't work, they may have to give up a pick for a guy.
I have said all along that we need a true inside pounder for those short yardage situations. Tony is dangerous and quality, but he isn't that guy. Rico is a decent back up, but he isn't that guy. Deuce is a weapon, but clearly isn't that guy.

If the Vikings lose to the Chargers....rumor is they could look to move Cousins. And if that is the case...I would call them about Mattison. He and Pollard would make a nice 1 -2 punch.

I'd wait and see what things look like before the trading deadline. Maybe one of our three guys really turns it on.... but, if we are looking great at the deadline, I would push a lot of chips in the middle this year. Swap a 2nd, 3rd etc.

Not sure how the Titans and Raider would look at that point but I'd go big and try and pull off a Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs or somehow a Saquan Barkley trade if the Giants could stomach it. I believe all three could be FA's next year and may not cost what you think. I wouldn't look at picking up another 3rd tier RB.

Maybe swing Jourdan Lewis as a cap dump if the secondary looks great. Maybe a restructure or two. Possibly a Henry/Jacobs for Pollard plus swap. We have the top end old school defense, but not the pound the rock RB. We'd have a great defense and could win passing or grinding it out on the ground. If we look this good at the trade deadline I would go all in.
