I would trade for a TE Pitts. The Falcons looks like they just aren't going to use him. Or is he trash?
He isn’t trash. His QB is a fella named Desmond Ridder and Pitts lead them in receiving week 1 with 44 receiving yards, that kind of tells you what you need to know about his situation.
Falcons have got a potentially formidable attack with swiss-army-knife Patterson, 2nd year WR London and RB Allgeier, and rook Bijan Robinson joining Pitts.
Desmond Ridder's two games (both wins btw) to start 2023 are only his 5th and 6th starts in the league.
Atlanta figuring out how to mesh all of this talent to be a productive offense.
Pitts ain't going anywhere.

You have to get Vaughn touches because he is a home run hitter. Eventually he will bust one long.

Luepke and Pollard should be handling short yardage carries though as the other backs are too ineffective for that.
When did Pollard become a short yardage runner?

The run blocking has been bad. Pollard is getting met in the backfield and we know he hits the whole hard and fast

On 105.3 the FAN right now .

They aren’t overly impressed with Dowdle & Vaughn.

Vaughn was used to early in the game according to Broaddus.
I have not been impressed with Dowdle AT ALL, but ironically, he ran better this game than he has in the past. Sounds like the talking heads are starting to catch up with behind the scenes evaluation.

Vaughn will be a keeper “on the cheap”. Dowdle is probably the odd man out in a trade.

Rather trade for Wilson who can get open, Gallup can't do it.

Both were very good run fronts in the league, it will fair better as we go. Glad Garret isn't coaching because we would of had 20 more rushes averaging a little over 2ypc.

Pollard had 25 carries for a sub-3 average. Garrett would’ve been proud last night

Don’t think they need another RB. Pollard, Dowdle, and Luepke should be able to combine for solid production. Vaughn should have special packages from mid 3rd quarter on when the defense is wearing down. Mix in his fresh legs late and try and get him in space to maintain longer drives that eat the clock. It’s all about how you use what you have.

This is how many guys they can line up at running back
1. Pollard
2. Dowdle
3. Vaughn
4. Leupke
5. Turpin
6. Davis
7. Lamb

I seriously can't believe you posted that.
He’s had 9 carries for 24 yards averaging 2.7 a carry. He’s had 12 offensive touches in two games. That’s what you were expecting? That’s not what many on this board were predicting for him to start the season, but it’s on par with my predictions. You are one of those hyping him.

You are completely ignoring the situation he was put in week one. Emmitt Smith couldn't have done better. No RB could.

So why are you bashing a 6th rounder for only getting 12 touches in the first 2 games of his rookie season?

We all saw what he could do in the open field on Sunday.

It's amusing that keeps pushing the situation. He knows they were running out the clock with the 2nd team oline against a stacked box. He just wants to irritate us for some odd reason.

Dowdle doesn't have a name, that's why people don't like him. Cz loves names
He needs to follow his lead block on the goalline, you can't run sideways and lose 2 yards in that situation. He is young, I am sure he will from it.

I think it makes people uneasy because Zeke was almost automatic in short-yardage situations.
