Guess they didn't show too much interest in Ridley.
I still hope they sign Ridley. Maybe stash him on injured reserve if not ready by game 1 or else could still come in early in the season.

2012 -- McFadden averaged 3.3 yards per carry.
2013 -- McFadden averaged 3.3 yards per carry.
2014 -- McFadden averaged 3.4 yards per carry.
Think there may be a pattern being established here? Give me Ridley, please.
Yeah he played for Oakland. Ridley played for NE. There's your pattern.

Latavious Murray averaged 5 yards a carry on that same team.

Good for him -- not so good for McFadden.
Can we sign Ridley along with McFadden & then cut Randle & take away Dunbars tender? I'd be more than ok with that

(Fixed it . . .)
You didn't fix anything and McFadden had more yards than that Murray guy. The guy had one breakout game(one breakout run in all honesty) and all of sudden he's some great back.
You dont need to be the a great back to be better then McFadden. You dont even need to be a good back to better then McFadden
His career stats clearly show he isntWow such insight.
On just 82 carries. Which means his average was influenced heavily (adding more than a yard per carry) by his one 90-yard run.
In the four games he actually had double digit attempts, he averaged 3.3, 4.9, 3.7, and 3.7 ypc.
