So you sign a guy who probably is still familiar with the terminology of the offense, and who at times in his career has excelled, and who is still relatively young.

No problem with that.

Bengals cut him b/c didn't want to wait all year for him to be an asset... especially, given his salary.

If McClay and McCarthy are satisfied he's past his injury... and it appears they are...

What's the problem here? I see none.

I'm cool with this PS signing. Hopefully he gets into football shape quickly, is healthy and picks up the blocking scheme quickly. Be a good locker room guy and get to work.

Depth for the OL is a good thing.
Let's remember, too... La'el was never afraid to start a fight if he believed his QB was taking unnecessary hits. Have to like that.

Does he get a Super Bowl ring when we win? I mean what's the cut off period.
What if the Cowboys win and Deuce get a ring? The Jeweler that makes his ring can save some money on diamonds and gold. Small little ring.

I’m pretty excited about this. He’s perfect for what we need right now. He’s good depth, knows the system, and is an upgrade from Chuma. Especially with Tyler and Tyron being dinged up. God forbid we get an injury to Tyler and Tyron I would feel much better with Bass and Collins then Bass and Chuma.

If all goes good we don’t see Collins at all this year. But it’s good to have insurance.

Now let’s get Cook signed to shore up RB room.
I don't think he will start at LT...this is likely a replacement for Bass if he needs to go in during a stretch run.
