When you have a good coach, he can turn JAGs to HOFs. Kris is capable of that with that back group. Let's wait and see.

Hope I'm right

I actually get tired of after so many years. I cant remember the last time a signing like this panned out.

And God forbid he has to fill in for an injured starter, then all bets are off.
Antwaan Woods, Jeremy Mincy... sheesh there signing the guy to be the 5th safety at best!

He was an interception factory at Boise with 19 career interceptions and highly rated coming out in 2016. He was ranked as one of the top 4-5 safeties in that class. He started for NYG in 2017 and had 75 tackles, 2 TFL, and an INT. Was not a bad player at all and I'm not really sure why NYG let him go. I fail to see why bringing in a 26 year old former ball hawk who didn't jive with two teams who haven't exactly excelled over the last few years hurts anything.

First JAG blood has been drawn...

What are you talking about?

We have an intravenous continuous infusion of JAG blood hooked up. This Front Office is a vampire with an intolerance to anything but JAG blood, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the safety position.

Fans will piss and moan about anything, no matter what decision is made.

"Not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven. Hey, and when I say that when I say that, I really believe it. I'm not just up here blowing smoke at none of these fans, because that's not what I'm about. I'm about business. And we believe we can win multiple championships if we take care of business and do it the right way."
-Darian Thompson on how many championships he'll bring.

Stephen and McClay working their FA magic now have enough safeties for the season and can concentrate on the DL
which now has 2 or 3 holes to fill. Bargain bin shopping paying big dividends.
I think you meant to say so they can get more CB's and RB's in here!!!!!

Question concerning DB's:

Is Jerry seriously not aware of lateral agility and burst out of the breaks and how it affects DB's not having it?

Here we go again, just like every year, fans getting upset as if guys like this are signed to be impact players and the Cowboys are too stupid to know they aren’t. Teams make these kinds of moves for depth, special teams, 53 man roster competition etc. all the time. EVERY team. Are fans really still unaware of this?

I feel like this is a guy they're hoping to develop for the future, not expecting him to make an impact this season.

It's not like he's killing the cap.

Can't cover. Due to lack of lateral agility and burst off his cut, he cannot stay w/ his man.
