Coming out of the University of Florida, Thompson ran a 4.3 40-yard dash so he could potentially bring an added dimension to the offense that has been lacking for several years.

Because it’s a 1 yr contract and he serves as depth and is a veteran.

He was a 4.3 burner 8 years ago who’s never caught more than 27 passes for more than 430 yards. He’s only scored 4 career TDs. Switzer had a better KO return average than Thompson. The Cowboys are Thompson’s 4th team. Butler is a better receiving talent than this guy. No way does Thompson upgrade our receiving corp better. He’ll be a bubble player this summer hoping to make the team on special teams.
