They can't do anything to him that he doesn't consent to. In fact, knowing him, if they push him any he might just hold on tighter.Even if you are right and it's Jerry being Jerry, I just want to know where the hell are his kids? Do they have zero influence over him? Why are they not stepping in? I know he speaks highly of Charlotte, where is she? The whole family is useless.
You can’t sell this to anyone with a brain. The only way they can sell this is if he is hands off on the offense and brings in an OC/line coach from the mcvay shannahan tree. AND a great DC hire.
Fair. I'm grasping at straws. You can’t sell this to anyone with a brain.
He thinks someone was hired to be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys that wasn't really Jerry's preference. They can't do anything to him that he doesn't consent to. In fact, knowing him, if they push him any he might just hold on tighter.
See if you agree with this, I always felt like Mike was more of a Stephen hire. That first PC, Stephen was the one who seemed closer to him, happier, did more talking, etc. Plus the reports that Jerry didn't warm up to Mike until he'd been here a couple of years.
It seems to me like Jerry has decided he'd make the decisions again. You had the crazy Lance trade where he doesn't even tell his coach, the Zeke signing, and the Mingo trade. Jerry took over this past training camp PC like he hasn't in years. Feels to me like he's taken some things back from Stephen. Maybe that's where the old age kicks in, he doesn't want to go out not doing things totally his way.
Yes. And the media is keeping that hidden so as not to embarrass the Cowboys. Most likely rejections from coaches outside the organization is causing this. Same reason why Mcarthy backed out.
The Cowboys do a good job of that themselvesYes. And the media is keeping that hidden so as not to embarass the Cowboys.
That is actually the Jerry ruleAre the mentally handicapped covered under the Roony rule?
Jerry is top dog for sure, but he can delegate if he wants to. Seems to me like he did that with Mike and he's not going to do that again. He thinks someone was hired to be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys that wasn't really Jerry's preference.
That world doesn't exist. Stephen is a secretary. Nothing more.
