Cowboys trying to trade up to 32

The Browns want more picks too.

This would be wasteful but it's what these guys do. You're 2 picks away for crying out loud.

If we're in win now i'd say go for it.

Send over our 2017 1st.

Take Spence and Jack and hold your nose.

Trading up for Dodd would be like old garbage can smell on the Stink-O-Meter.

Trading up for say Cook would be shove my face in a big pile of horse crap on the Stink-O-Meter.

I think the worst it would be is if Dallas swaps their 4th for Cleveland's 5th. Or Dallas just gives them next year's 5th. Ughh
Even that is too much.

We're only 30 points behind in trade value (34 to 32 according to draft value chart). Our 3rd is worth 260. Even our 4th is worth 100. Even swapping our 4th (basically a 3rd rounder) for their 5th doesn't add up. Unless we swap our compensatory 4th (which I'm not sure is tradeable; I've heard conflicting reports).

Wow. Were you alive during this period of time? Jerry was the biggest maverick in the NFL and did things completely unorthodox.

Yes I was. Alive, sober and sane.

Go Cowboys, bro.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys are "attempting" to acquire the No. 32 overall pick from the Browns.

According to RapSheet, the Cowboys' "likely target" is a pass rusher. Rotoworld draft guru Josh Norris' top available edge rusher left on the board is Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence. Spence has some off-field issues related to drugs, so maybe the Cowboys, who have already lost their two starting ends to suspensions, will shy away from him. Either way, they need help off the edge.

for 2 spots? trade them leary and get another pick out of it, they need offense line help also

Sure, Jerry gets credit for hiring Jimmy. Jimmy built those SB teams. Jimmy left.

In his place, Jerry seized most of the control of roster building. Since Jimmy left and Jerry has assumed the GM duties, the Cowboys have stumbled along.

Just curious, when was the last time you had your eyes checked? Because you have definitely been seeing something much different than I have the last 20 or so years.
I saw a team without a head coach go to an NFC Championship and win a Superbowl and then go through something unprecedented.....a dynasty get old and injured in the salary cap era.

Sure...there were a lot of mistakes made but I just can't believe that Cowboys fans think Jerry had nothing to do with those Championships. Newsflash...they don't happen if he doesn't buy the team!

Good grief! There are 4 pass rushers I could live with at 34. Sit back and be patient.
