This doesn't deserve a constructive response. I will ask a question. Have you even looked at his stats since 2010?

Tony Romo was already a Pro-Bowl QB prior to Garrett ever stepping foot in Dallas as a coach of any kind. If anything, Garrett couldn't protect Romo from himself and call a balanced attack to save his life. This is well documented. Romo might have won a SB or two had the best years of his career not been wasted on an inexperienced HC.

Of course his 5-3 record in 2010 counts as a winning season. Are you seriously trying to discount it? Why not just judge the guy fairly on his actual record?

I am judging him on his actual record, you are the one saying "lots of good coaches have losing seasons".

Seems like you want to count the record only when it looks good for Garrett, but when somebody brings up he only has 1 winning season as the official head coach, you immediately start saying "lots of things go into losing, not just coaching".

Either judge him on his record or not, but this crediting him with wins and yet blaming everyone else for losses is just getting embarrassing.
