You know JG is not a good coach we are fortunate to have a great team but when real coaching decisions need to be made quickly on the field he cant do it.

Last week was GREAT game to catapult into playoffs.
Maybe we can delete this game and extra week off from their brains. Lol
This may have been the worse game of Doug free's career.
And that's a tall mountain of suckage
Dude. It's like $5 million. That's a lot of money. Our starting quarterback makes literally nothing. This is your window before you have to pay him.Not saving that much really. Plus, we are getting our savings with Dak Prescott
And you still got to go out and pay for a decent back up quarterback. Just saying.Dude. It's like $5 million. That's a lot of money.
That's my point. If we keep Romo, we're NOT screwed if our starting QB goes down. Also, moving Romo doesn't help us long term, it helps us short term (as in next year)and only to the tune of $5 mil. Romo isn't in it for the long haul. Plenty of cap room can be created through already built in restructures and a couple of releases (I'm looking at you, Doug Free) to bring in some defensive FA talent. There are no "Legit" backup QBs. They're all terrible. Half of the starters aren't even legit.
I see your point, but moving Romo helps us long term. This is the NFL, if you lose your starting quarterback, you're screwed. Save the $5 million for other players.
It would work fiscally. This is a matter of principle at this point. That's not smart business. You don't pay that much for a backup. Think about the positions you could fill with the money you save moving him.
Does Washington have to win to make the playoffs?
What we learned:
Romo is still good
Gregory needs a lot of work
Dunbar is a waste of roster spot
Doug free folds like a lawn chair
Mark sanchez...lol forget it.
I agree, they threw the game away by not playing romo more, and then to lose like this and miss the record for all time winsAll l can say is that it makes me want to vomit losing that game in that way to the Eagles. That really hurts. They are a bunch of bums that the Cowboys should have beaten easily.
$5 million for a guy who isn't going to play? Do you actually think the Jones' are that stupid? And you still got to go out and pay for a decent back up quarterback. Just saying.
none but he has been dak's friend from the beginningI can't imagine what counsel Sanchez could give Dak.
Not if Romo is your back- up. You kinda make my point for me.$5 million for a guy who isn't going to play? Do you actually think the Jones' are that stupid?
And, by the way, this is the NFL. When your quarterback goes down for the season, you're done.
The position of backup quarterback is not worth the $5 million we would save moving him. That's my point. If we keep Romo, we're NOT screwed if our starting QB goes down. Also, moving Romo doesn't help us long term, it helps us short term (as in next year)and only to the tune of $5 mil. Romo isn't in it for the long haul. Pats had to win though for HFA?
You don't sit a $24 million quarterback. You move him if you don't want him. $5 million is $5 million. I'm not sure why it's so difficult for you.Not if Romo is your back- up. You kinda make my point for me.
Until, like you said, your starting QB goes down. At that point, 5 million is a ******* bargain. The position of backup quarterback is not worth the $5 million we would save moving him.
