Last week was GREAT game to catapult into playoffs.

Maybe we can delete this game and extra week off from their brains. Lol

Pretty sure Zeke will. Did you see the look on his face all game? He'll be out there with his hair on fire our first playoff game.

All the defensive coordinators are aware that free isn't that good he's ok in run blocking just no Bueno in pass protection.

Not saving that much really. Plus, we are getting our savings with Dak Prescott
Dude. It's like $5 million. That's a lot of money. Our starting quarterback makes literally nothing. This is your window before you have to pay him.

There are no "Legit" backup QBs. They're all terrible. Half of the starters aren't even legit.

I see your point, but moving Romo helps us long term. This is the NFL, if you lose your starting quarterback, you're screwed. Save the $5 million for other players.
That's my point. If we keep Romo, we're NOT screwed if our starting QB goes down. Also, moving Romo doesn't help us long term, it helps us short term (as in next year)and only to the tune of $5 mil. Romo isn't in it for the long haul. Plenty of cap room can be created through already built in restructures and a couple of releases (I'm looking at you, Doug Free) to bring in some defensive FA talent.

That's not smart business. You don't pay that much for a backup. Think about the positions you could fill with the money you save moving him.
It would work fiscally. This is a matter of principle at this point.

What we learned:
Romo is still good

Gregory needs a lot of work

Dunbar is a waste of roster spot

Doug free folds like a lawn chair

Mark sanchez...lol forget it.

What we learned:

Romo is still sharp, but we still don't know if he can take a hit.

Gregory is fast and if he can stay off the pot and get a little bit more experience, he's going to be a terror at defensive end. (Remember, he was going against Jason Peters, one of the best tackles in the game).

Romo and Dak were doing well behind this offensive line, enough to sustain drives, and that without Zeke.

This defense needs Sean Lee.

I can't imagine what counsel Sanchez could give Dak.

All l can say is that it makes me want to vomit losing that game in that way to the Eagles. That really hurts. They are a bunch of bums that the Cowboys should have beaten easily.
I agree, they threw the game away by not playing romo more, and then to lose like this and miss the record for all time wins
by a cowboy team is about as bad for momentum going into playoffs as you can get.

They played Dak and Romo, so either could have been hurt when they were in, might as well play them longer to get the win.

Also playcalling for sanchez was awful, he needed a different type offense and pass routes to do better.

Not playing elliot at all was also silly, he wasnt hurt , and doesnt need rest, and looked bummed out he couldnt play.

It would only have taken a little more time with Romo to win this game.

And you still got to go out and pay for a decent back up quarterback. Just saying.
$5 million for a guy who isn't going to play? Do you actually think the Jones' are that stupid?

And, by the way, this is the NFL. When your quarterback goes down for the season, you're done.

The position of backup quarterback is not worth the $5 million we would save moving him.

Not if Romo is your back- up. You kinda make my point for me.
You don't sit a $24 million quarterback. You move him if you don't want him. $5 million is $5 million. I'm not sure why it's so difficult for you.
