The explanation was that there was a sack on the play and the ref was afraid of the Philly fans to stick to the call... so he unsaw what he originally saw.

As long as McCarthy is the HC we will not make progress. Lack of attention to details (lining up in neutral zone, illegal formation) are symptoms of bad coaching. Penalties are coaching.

Philly was gassed. We 3 and outed them three consecutive times. It was 1st and 5 on the 6 yard line with 27 seconds left, down five. How do you not win that game? False start, sack, false start, it's unbelievable. Stepping out of bounds and not getting 2 points. Details. Getting into the end zone on a diving catch, details.

Two things. The refs and lack of calls are appalling. On the uncalled Gallup PI Olsen said "I guess at this level you let that stuff go..." Go back and listen. WELL WHY ARE WE NOT LETTING IT GO for Gilmore? Why can we whack Gallup in the head, THROW THE FLAG, and then pick it up? They are the worst.

We are poorly coached and the defense is badly overrated. If the opposing team keeps the pass rush at bay for 2.5 then our secondary is awful. If you don't think so then ask yourself why we have not beaten any teams over 500. Only the Jets at 4-3. Giants, Rams, Bolts, Pats, all sub 500. Couldn't even beat the f... Cardinals. Lost to 9ers and S**tbirds.

We should have won today. Bad coaching didn't let us take it. Sad.

You have to throw your last pass into the end zone to have any shot.

Well that's one possibility, but 8 eagle defenders were in the endzone, and CD was open at the 3. Dak opted for the open receiver at the 3.
Now if you want to pretend that throwing into that maze of defenders was the best thing to do, well OK, that's up to you. Personally I suspect that getting the ball into your receiver's hands at the 3 so he can try to score is just as likely to succeed as throwing into a maze of 8 defenders and hoping for the right bounce in the fight for the ball.

Every week, Steele is getting his butt handed to him. Dude was a major liability on the edge all game.

After going back and rewatching parts of the game, Steele was horrible! I couldn't believe how bad he looked in this game. He allowed an almost constant flow of pressure into our backfield.
Despite that, we still had over 400 yds of total offense and Dak looked good.

Very, very, very rare that NFL head coaches are penalized for berating officials during a game. I can't recall the last time it happened.
