My internet search says 4-1 when I search for head to head. "When it comes to head-to-head matchups, Prescott holds a 4-1 record against Cousins." But that is dated February 2022 so with the game this past season, it would go to 5-1.

Are you sure you aren't counting games when one or the other might not have played?

Respectfully, I think the fact that Cowherd is paid to do what he does as irrelevant. Nobody that is paid to talk about sports is being paid to be right 100% of the time. They are paid to maintain a healthy amount of viewers/listeners. As I said before, nobody is right all the time. And most of them don’t admit it when they are wrong… At least he did.

And of course he does not mention Wentz every single week in that segment. But he has mentioned him a few times about being wrong…and about being wrong about him in general, not just about how he think he would perform in a given week.

Holding somebody to a higher standard is one thing, demanding perfection is quite another. In his business, it can be argued that the higher standard that he is aiming for is, in fact, that same credibility that you say he lacks. You say he has lost it all for being wrong in this one particular case. I believe most others would believe that he maintains it by admitting when he gets something wrong. But we can just agree to disagree.

I don't often say this...but in hindsight I think I agree with you.

The Chiefs DID give up a lot of points, and you don't usually see 35 points and think "great job defense".

But Philly's offense was just as dominant throughout the year in points per game as KC was... and nobody scored as much as Philly in the last few games of the season...so they were a red hot offense.

They scored 35 on KC, and it looked like it migjt be a blowout early...but then KC's defense did what nobody else could do all year: shut down hurts running. Hurts still gashed them thru the air .... but taking away that one thing kept the Chiefs in it, and kept Philly from hanging 50 on them. They forced them into an offense they didn't want to do. Still don't think KC has dominant defensive PLAYERS...but as a unit they played a vital role in that game, maybe more than Mahomes....because if they hadn't done what they did KC woulda lost 50 or 55 to 38.

I don't really have a point. I'm not even sure why this was brought up by whoever brought it up....I'm just saying I don't think the Chiefs and Pats have/had great rosters on some of their SB teams... they just had elite HOF level QBs.

Those other teams had GREAT rosters feom top to bottom... (but you kind of had to back then, before free agency....when "dynasties" were much more common and you could keep great teams together

I don't "constantly". I did it once and admitted I was mistaken. You guys have very similar verbiage and often....oddly....say exactly the same things in exactly the same way.
