We have a completely different O scheme, decent backup OL's, a DLine that keeps coming at you in waves complete w/ 2 NT's, 4 S's who can play, and scads of talent.

Who's going to tell him he's coming out of the game? I'm not familiar with Parsons' contract but some of these guys have stat bonuses to hit and there is no better time to get a sack, for example, than when you know the other team is definitely going to throw.

Short passing. As opposed to the QB having to sit in the pocket play after play after play. Moving down the field, possessing the ball. Getting 1st downs on 2nd and 2 instead of 50 yd passes.

Dak is what he is at this point in his career. If we want any shot at a playoff run, the OC must absolutely call plays that fit Dak's strengths. KMo was not doing so, and neither was JG. MM gets it, and is doing just that. At present, Dak is flourishing, and against 2 good D's.

QB - push or lean towards the niners. Let's be honest, if Purdy was the 1st pick in the draft last year, he would be ranked as one of the best QBs in the NFL based off what he has done so far. But since he was the last pick, everyone is waiting for him to fall back down to earth, and therefore rank him much lower than his play has shown so far.

So far the defense is better than it was last season, but the key is, will it be able to sustain throughout the entire season into the playoffs. Only time will tell. We have to see if Parsons can maintain his level of play throughout the entire season. He’s worn down the past two seasons, and hasn’t been as effective in December and January.

I don't blame anyone for being skeptical when we haven't; accomplished anything YET. Fans...can be hopeful.

Nobody cares about last year. This year, we haven't been taken to the wire, which is great. But so far MM hasn't been tested with big decisions and a pressure cooker game going down to the final few drives. There are still some unknowns about us. Can we continuously stop a team from running the ball when we don't build a huge lead and take them out of their gameplan? That's a concern I have when facing teams like SF and Phi. I didn't watch this but I'm assuming that's probably what he's saying.
