RB’s look not so good. Only 5 LB’s? CB looks weak without Bland. The rest of the team looks pretty damn good. I’m sure they’ll address both RB, CB and LB at some point soon.
RBs and WR after Lamb.
If this isn't turning the screws on Dak, it sure is not doing him any favors.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about wide receiver Brandon cooks is actually pretty damn good and another year in this offense he's had a great camp, he's a great #2,and right now Turpin and tolbert taking wr3 snaps, look good, but man the depth there's some guys on this team that can turn in the next young Michael Gallup like fournay,

you're trying to tell me you need big names or you think having 3 deep made up of great players at every position is what all teams have everyone but Dallas?, are you kidding me you might want to get off some of that...

yes, i give you the cornerback but that just happened and this roster not finished. id lie to see vet brought in there but bland will be back by game 5-6..not out for the year.

How about before all this dread and the sky is falling and we're have holes all over the place why don't we watch the first month of the season we can judge this by how games are played won or lost we can see what this real team is made-up of... And like they did in 2018 when they saw the wide receiver by committee wasn't working they went out and got amari Cooper they can do this all the way up to the trade deadline. We are fine at wide receiver not many people have acd lamb on their team let alone a Brandon cooks at #2.. Brandon cooks didn't get enough looks and enough targets last year because CD lamb was just tearing up the league and I don't think Mike McCarthy knew how to distribute the ball, but this is a better wide receiver core than you are giving it credit for..

Gallup was a liability last year so I believe it's an upgrade at wide receiver three if Mike McCarthy can get off his big **** and get the ball to Turpin and get the ball distributed to some of other players before Game 6 before we absolutely need to this office is going into year two more of its installed and I believe that it's gonna be a lot better than you think..

If we keep needing to score 30 points to win, we need more offensive weapons.

I am not expecting much at all from Turpin at WR.

Can we PLEASE take a flyer on Caleb Farley.

That kid has been through so much since getting drafted, if he gets a chance to just play ball he could be a solid piece for somebody. Let Al Harris get ahold of him and see if something clicks.
No thanks

With only 23 players it looks very thin.
I think our callups in the first few games will be on that side of the ball. Possibly Lawson if we can get him on the practice squad, maybe someone like Harvey as a special-teammer. Doubt we call up Cook the first week since he's coming in off the streets.

Couple quick thoughts on the roster.

-No real surprises of note on the roster
-So glad we kept Vaughn over Freeman and Davis. Vaughn just offers more upside
-Its remarkable no one can push Goodwin off the roster. Love the guy and understand ST may be more important this year with the kickoff rules, but would be nice to have someone who carries additional positional value.
-Went heavy at TE and light at LB. I would have preferred to keep the extra LB.
-Oline depth looks better vs years past, while dline depth has some unknowns. Hope someone steps up as that 2nd pass rusher.
-We way under invested at RB, but if we truly embrace the committee approach and use the guys based on what they do best I think the group can be better than expected. If we just roll out Zeke for 15-20 carries a game I can't see it being a success.

To me this roster has some players on it that are "built in cuts" for later this year:

-Chuma Edoga goes on IR once Dallas officially activates Lamb
-Matt Waletzko gets cut if Dallas signs Tyus Bowser
-Tyrus Wheat gets cut if Dallas decides to keep Al-Quadin Muhammad after his suspension
-Brevyn Spann-Ford gets cut in about a month to make room for DaRon Bland's return

It has to do with some fans overrating some players because they do not like another player.
Also fans do not know all what is really going on with the players or what was being asked of them.
Maybe it's time for fans to just stop asking the cowboys to draft defensive tackles if we've already acknowledged that they don't know how to do it and they're just going to cut them. Just accept the incompetence. I'm at the point where I wish they would just pull people off the street instead of wasting draft picks on defensive tackles when they actually know how to draft at other positions.

I take it that means you didn't watch any of the preseason games.
