Probably Grier either ends up as the backup on the roster or goes elsewhere, and we likely won't bring Garibay back, so Dontario Drummond and Malik Jefferson might be kept instead. Watkins also could be a re-sign candidate. Same with Goodwin. But I'd start both on the PS and bring them up for games for three weeks to see how the roster shakes out.

Malik Davis had a big opportunity in the last preseason game but didn't light it up. Thought he had a chance but after watching that game I expected he would be a cut.

If Ridgeway made it over Watkins...then we need a new D-line coach. All you got to see is Ridgeway get his *** stomped in the 4th quarter vs Seattle....to know he isn't NFL material. Guy was literally getting pushed 7-10 yards downfield....then got folded in two @ the goaline.

Potential. Watkins has none, while Ridgeway is a rookie. We kept six DTs, so it isn't like we're expecting Ridgeway to contribute much right now. Watkins lost his job because of Bohanna's improvement and even Hill's, not because of Ridgeway. Our DT rotation will be Odighizuwa, Gallimore, Bohanna, Golston and Hill. Ridgeway will likely be inactive for most games.
