But I mean at what point do you move on when all a team does is bring you misery and pain? At some point you have to prioritize your health over this team.
I'll probably enjoy watching some other teams this year but I'm a Cowboy fan. I've been one since 1975. If I was going to jump ship I would have done it years ago.

You, Rambo, Rockport, fan of jerry, and reid1boys and whoever else is in the Jerry fan club are not many.

You are few.
Dak is going to get resigned, and the majority of you haters will get proven wrong once again while we will have to continue dealing with y'alls whiny nonstop rants/threads for another 4+ years. Don't you get tired of complaining?

Tyler Guyton or Jackson Powers-Johnson will likely be the pick too. O-Linemen aren't sexy picks, so that takes away from some of the excitement. Not exactly helping the pre-draft excitement.

No, Jerry and Stephen are the ones that are responsible for killing any excitement. We need to stop using Jason Garrett, Wade Phillips, Dave Campo, Tony Romo, Dak Prescott, etc as the scapegoats. As much as we may want a change at QB the last 3 years have actual been the golden years for the Cowboys over the last 3 decades. All the blame needs to be laid at Jerry's feet. He is the owner and GM. He chooses the head coaches, signs off on player contracts, decides which players come and go, etc. That incompetent Owner/GM of ours stuck with Garrett for almost a decade and then decided to stick with McCarthy after that playoff debacle last year. Then did not make any moves to provide competition to Dak after those 2 poor playoff performances against SF and still isn't making any moves to replace Dak after that performance against GB. We have a GM that is untouchable regardless of how bad he is.
The best thing Jerry could do is hire a GM, so he could have someone else to blame. We all know the HC has no power. Majority of fans are waking up and have seen enough of Jerry sales pitches to know what is really going on.

He's not the only one telling you. Many of us are tired of the constant whiny, anti-Dak threads. Worse than a bus full of kids complaining about not being given whipped cream with a cherry on top to their milkshake.
Well guess what I'm tired of them too. I'm also tired of the Dak can't do no wrong threads. Dak will never win a SB with the Cowboys. He's gotten worse every year in the playoffs. Don't care how he looks during the regular season. I do agree with you that Jerry will cave into him because he and Stephen are incompetent. We'll still be arguing the same stuff 5 years from now and it will continue onto the next QB. The dynamic duo are the real problems with the Cowboys. Don't know why some can't see it. It even goes to Lance. We have to hope that Jerry finally did something right. I won't hold my breath on that one.

I would be extremely excited with JPJ and would have been equally excited with O'Cyrus in round 2 last year.

This draft has probably the least amount of excitement I can remember in over a decade. Now a lot of you will say its Jerry and Stephen being the woats that they are, but they have been here for 35 years and its never been this bad.

The pro-Dak fans are tuned out because he hasnt gotten his extension yet and looks to be on his way out of town (finally)

The anti-Dak fans are tuned out because we know no matter who we draft this weekend, it wont be enough for this guy.

If the FO was smart, they would trade this guy tomorrow and retool.

I completely agree with this post. Knowing Dak is the QB this coming season ruins any excitement. We know the ending. Dallas will win around 12 games and make the playoffs and Dak will choke again.

This

I do not blame Dak ...... he could win in the right situation.

But Jerry and son are never gonna give him what he needs to be successful ...... they do not know how.

Jerry did that a long time ago, then Stephen. Dak's on the list but he's down a little bit. With these 3, there's definitely not much to be excited about.

I had no idea Dak was in charge of last years draft and this years free agency.

Show any "Dak can't do no wrong" threads. I dare you since you brought it up.

Disagree.

I think it's Jerry and Stephen that have sucked the life out of a subset of the fanbase:

1) Jerry claiming they will have accountability and then firing literally ZERO coaches
2) Jerry claiming they are close and will be "all in" this offseason to have him and his son back off that and spin stupid excuses
3) Their inaction in FA, which is almost historically inept
4) Their BSing about how they spend like no one else and thusly are cap strapped year in and year out

I think some fans are realizing this isn't going to change. Jerry and, worse, his son are largely incompetent only bouyed by the fact they seem to have enough decent scouts to draft well enough to stay relevant. But once that goes, this franchise is in the tank.
Jerry and Stephen have been doing nonsense for 30 years now. Their incompetence is nothing new.

When this team took the field against Green Bay and embarrassed themselves once again, the clown under center should be the one held accountable

And btw, the fans that were letdown with the “all-in” talk are the most delusional ones. The Anti-Dak crowd has already come to the realization that no matter who they sign, it wont be enough for him
