If it were up to me, LC would still be on the team. I’m not sold on TS, but hope for the best.that was a half arsed, semi relutctant way of saying, you were wrong...!!!

Whole organization is to blame no question, but Dak’s on field play deserves blame too.
True. You know what they say that QB gets too much credit when you win and too much blame when you lose. When this team fails to achieve their goals there is plenty of blame to go around, including Dak. But not solely on Dak.
You are having trouble reading, no insult intended Jerry is the one totally responsible not Dak in any way. Is Dak elite no, is he great no but Jerry thinks so and that's all that matters and that's on Jerry. Read again it's pretty straight forward and maybe you will understand this time. As for other options, Jerry built the team around Dak and believed it was a championship team (a yearly delusion of his), to him there wasn't any other option to consider it's Jerrys thinking, that's Jerry way, he believes he is the smartest football guy out there and will keep trying to prove it. Never said Dak sucks that's your spin. The guy who been signing players and building the team for 25 years and making mistake after mistake is who's to blame and everyone knows who that is. Bad contracts, Dak, Dlaw, J Smith, Zeke the list is long but why anyone would blame the player for taking Jerry's money is crazy.this response was a soup, mashed up soup of bunch of none sense you tried to put together, because you had no other response.
you were trying to blame Dak, but kind of pointed fingers at Jones, albeit relutctantly trying to excuse him, but made sure you said dak sucks (we get that).
but I think you are trying to say, Jones is at fault, but not really, because its Dak's fault because Jones had no choice...which if this is what you tried to say, still makes no sense.
but this very thread said, there were other options. why weren't those options explored?
so Dak sucks. we get it. but who is responsible for putting this team together? who is responsible for signing players? who is responsible for handing a contract to Jones?
True. You know what they say that QB gets too much credit when you win and too much blame when you lose.
Team must step up of course, but Dak must play a lot better also.True, but you don't have to buy into it. If Dak is to help lead this team we will need this team to step up in big games. Heck Rodgers has not seen a SB since 2010 because despite how good he is, it takes more than a 1 man to get to a SB.
Honestly I don’t believe that Jerry thinks Dak is elite.Jerry was never fully sold on him which is why he wasn’t signed years ago at a much lower price. He was hoping to load up w/ talent around him and see what happens. It didn’t really pan out, as now he’s paying him much more $ as there weren’t many other options to go to and most likely won’t be winning big games for a while. You are having trouble reading, no insult intended Jerry is the one totally responsible not Dak in any way. but 2.4 second, similar to other QBs...Yes and no.He likes to release quickly to 1st option if open to avoid having to scan the field and go thru progressions as that is a weakness in his game.Very slow thru progressions. If that 1st option isn’t open and has to scan the field, he often holds the ball too long because he doesn’t see the field well.Instead of actually seeing open wr’s or even throwing it away, he’ll take some really bad sacks as proved by a previous post.
I never said Dak was elite. its your words. I just said, Dak isn't as bad as some say he is and if they pointed to a stat, I gave them another stat and asked for clarification.maybe you , i have been clear and consisitent. You were adamant Dak is elite and a super bowl is imminent with him .
Are you getting second thoughts now ?
ok, so its all Jerry's fault. You are having trouble reading, no insult intended Jerry is the one totally responsible not Dak in any way. ok, so its all Jerry's fault.
then why all the hate on Dak? Dak is what he is. he doesn't play bad on purpose. he does what he is capable of and its not elite. so I don't understand the 10,000s of thousands of posts trying to prove Dak is bad. isn't that established already. so why post the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again....what difference does it make. Jerry screwed this team. we are going to suck and be average for the next few years. Dak will be gone, so will zeke and the next one comes through the door and same thing. since Johnson we have not had any success. that's over quarter of a century, almost half of NFL superbowl era
Most QB’s in the NFL have very similar release times. It’s what happens after 1st or 2nd option aren’t open that matters. That’s the difference in being great and not great.but 2.4 second, similar to other QBs...
but a nice spin nevertheless. I agree that he holds the ball too long sometimes btw, but not because of what you described necessarily. 596 passes.....it can't be to primary recievers. and spread is 79,78,68,47,45,39...wilson, brown, zeke, pollard aren't necessarily primary recievers...
so 596 passes were all to primary recievers? so you are saying that Wilson was a primary target 61 times? and Pollard 46 times? and zeke 65 times? and brown? and jarwin? and turner? Most QB’s in the NFL have very similar release times. It’s what happens after 1st or 2nd option aren’t open that matters. That’s the difference in being great and not great.
Yes, it seems really hard to move on from Dak. It is even harder when there is no effort being made to move on. There several good players on the team and having Dak at QB is a sure way for them to waste their careers. Dak is guilty of being greedy and selfish which will hurt the team for years to come. I remember how fans were laughing about Dak and the $40 million a year rumors. It was totally outrageous at the time that Dak would even think he was good enough to get the kind of contract that the Jones gave him. Jerry and Stephen are idiots and their stupidity is more than the team can overcome. The same answer (that isn’t one) keeps coming up. “Move on”
To whom? Cooper Rush?
What are you telling CD, Martin, Tyron, LVE, DLaw, and several other vets of this team when you ditch Dak and have no plan B? You throw a year (at least) of their careers away.
Good QBs don’t grow on trees…….and I don’t expect you to go back and look up FA market at the time, but the point stands—we didn’t have much choice.
Back to the OP- let him hit FA and see if we could mitigate his stupid demand (call the bluff) or trade him before the deadline (you know we’d get fleeced) or what?
My main point is stop blaming Dak for doing right by Dak.
the front office are the ones who didn’t hedge their bets and put “some guy” as a back up.
He had a negative effect on all of their contracts. You are forgetting how bad Dak was playing before they signed Cooper. Dak has never been a QB that raises the level of play from his teammates. It has always been the opposite. They have made Dak look better than he really is.Yet Dak got a big contract for...
Cooper
Gallup
Wilson
Schultze
Jarwin
Cobb
Not bad for someone who doesn't throw to guys...
See here is where the issue is...Dak gets all of the blame and none of the credit. It is comical really. He had a negative effect on all of their contracts. You are forgetting how bad Dak was playing before they signed Cooper. Dak has never been a QB that raises the level of play from his teammates. It has always been the opposite. They have made Dak look better than he really is.
Sometimes you have to dump off out of necessity and sometimes you dump off because you don’t see the field.Other times you dump off because you’re scared to throw downfield unless wiiiide open because you lack accuracy. You really make no sense.I don’t even know what you’re talking about or what you’re debating. If it’s release time, as I’ve already said most QB’s are very similar.Obviously Oline matters and contrary to some here, Dak had 1 of the better ones.so 596 passes were all to primary recievers? so you are saying that Wilson was a primary target 61 times? and Pollard 46 times? and zeke 65 times? and brown? and jarwin? and turner?
and again, another spin...he holds the ball too long. then his release time is similar to other QBs, but that's because they are all similar. but he holds on for too long. so either CD, Cooper, Gallup, schultz were incredible in getting open given I would assume they would be primary targets....but we heard complaints about Schultz. and CD and Gallup.
so I assume its not every throw, but a percentage of throws. what percentage?
See here is where the issue is...Dak gets all of the blame and none of the credit. It is comical really.
During 2018 in those first 4-6 games before we got Coop...i was SCREAMING on this site about how no one was able to get open on the offense. We needed speed, we needed a threat on offense. Dak was making the right reads and decisions and had nowhere to go with the football. I did complete game breakdowns, play by play, to combat the narrative of it was all Dak's fault....sounds familiar.
Then...magically....we get coop and the offense is #1 in the league from that point forward. ALL OF THE SUDDEN...Dak didn't suck anymore? Go figure.
I don't make sense!!! really!!!. you keep spinning as I ask questions adding to it with hypotheticals....I asked a simple question and you gave a no answer. you said he holds on to the ball too long, then you check the release time and its similar to other QBs, so you dismiss that as a measure because it doesn't fit your argument. then I asked about 600 throws in the season and completions to different recievers and you respond with being scared tot throw, dump off, etc. but then you look at Yards per attempt and he is 9th in the league. is that the dump off results? so then you look at average air yards and he is 7th in the league. so what is it then?Sometimes you have to dump off out of necessity and sometimes you dump off because you don’t see the field.Other times you dump off because you’re scared to throw downfield unless wiiiide open because you lack accuracy. You really make no sense.I don’t even know what you’re talking about or what you’re debating. If it’s release time, as I’ve already said most QB’s are very similar.Obviously Oline matters and contrary to some here, Dak had 1 of the better ones.
