Dak has ruined this team

Right, 1 of 53 screwed it up all day...if only he had opened better running lanes, if only he had not commited 6 pre snape penalties..if only he had stopped the niners from eating clock with 200 rushing yards... if only he had not had multiple defensive holding calls..if only he had not allowed 5 sacks (great wall of china) ...if he couldve sacked the opposing QB just once (legion of boom in action here)...again Dak should've played better you sound like it was your first football game to watch thinking it was just the QB..Legion of boom...lol
All correct, but you know what winning QB’s do?Make a play in the end. Dak had his chance, but choked as usual. All games aren’t going to go perfectly as most playoff games are down to the end.Dak just never comes through.Stafford and the Rams certainly didn’t play perfectly, but in the end Stafford made the big plays when he had to.Just a trait Dak doesn’t have. That clutch gene.

You mean like when trailing in the 4th to Russel Wilson to come back and beat him in the playoffs..that kinda gene?

Sure except... when you try and put facts to it...but hey facts are not your thing as we are "Damn Close" to having the legion of boom Defense right now....but by all means rate others comparisons..lol
Here’s a fact….Dak is average. What facts are you even talking about. Here’s another fact, NFL GM’s feel Dak is not great either. Here’s another fact,I could care less about legion of boom defense from years ago.I care about right now.Good day.

Show me the Dak is average facts....show me the NFL GM said it facts..you cant

Think about all that we’ve given up for this teams buy in with him

-cap hell for the next decade

Cowboys have created a ton of cap space and they still aren't signing anyone to address weak areas. It has nothing to do with Dak's contract.

It has everything to do with Jerry & Stephen and their jobs-for-life program.

Well in all fairness they already have the legion of boom defense...just ask some of the guys in this thread...what more do they need?

Keep building up the family business.

Are you sure you want to use this game as an example to back your point?

Dak threw 4 passes, all of them incomplete on this mythical clutch comeback 4th qtr drive.

He wasn't even behind. They had a lead from a TD scored with 12+ minutes left in the game.

After that go ahead score with 12 and half minutes left, the defense got Dak the ball right back with a 3 and out. A 51 yard punt return set Dak up inside the Hawks 40. Dak then threw a pick giving the Hawks the ball back down by three with 9 and half minutes left. The defense bailed him out with a 4 and out.

It was then that Dak led one of his legendary comebacks by going 0 for 4 but doing a great job of handing the ball off. He did contribute a couple nice runs. Don't want to take that away from him.

I don't get why people are saying that the mistake was not signing Dak to a cheaper extension earlier.

It's still the same QB. Not good enough is still not good enough even if he plays for free.

That has been a weak argument since they re-signed him and it was laughable that Booger actually brought up Prescott should work with them so they can sign other players. Sign what players? Gregory to a 70M deal?

Even the Joneses fans, scary as they are, should be looking at this creating cap space and what's not being done with it.

Do people really see the enigma of these people? They want this big shot image as players with the stadium, Star, boat and Booger Bus but they are really bottom feeders, they are pretending to be players.

Bridgewater signed for Dolphins for 6.5m? We could have afforded this.

What exactly did Dak ruin? This franchise has been a clown show for nearing 3 decades.

That is the crux of the problem. They spent so much time selling him to anyone that would listen, they ended up believing it themselves. Before they asked themselves how much they should pay him, they should have asked themselves "is he the one".

Who cares about stats, didn't we get that with Romo too? People defending him with his QBR?

Matthew Stafford erased 13 years of futility and not being a clutch QB in one season because he performed when it counted. The Cowboys have not had that guy since Aikman. And they have not had a team around a QB since Aikman either and neither one of these tools built that.

you thought our o0line played good the last part of this season? lol ok
Over the entirety of the season yes and with a better QB they win more games during the regular season and finish 1st or 2nd in the conference. Very few o-lines played particularly well in the play offs but Prescott had it way better than for example, Joe Burrow who still managed to reach the Superbowl with the Bengals.

Any way to answer my own question PFF ranked Cowboys' o-line #1 and Seattle was #25. I'm not claiming PFF is 100% accurate but there was clearly a huge gulf between the respective o-lines of those two teams last season and in reality the previous years excluding 2020 given the injury suffered by Prescott makes that a moot point that season.
