Think about all the Anti-Dak Cult Members who have called Dak "trash" or "average" all offseason....

And now the rest of us can officially point and laugh at them.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Nobody on this board knows better than actual NFL personnel. Go argue with a wall.

The Anti-Dakkers lose yet again, because losers lose.

Top 10 List:

  1. Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs
  2. Joe Burrow – Cincinnati Bengals
  3. Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills
  4. Aaron Rodgers – New York Jets
  5. Justin Herbert – Los Angeles Chargers
  6. Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles
  7. Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens
  8. Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars
  9. Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys
  10. Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams

Honorable Mention:

  • Deshaun Watson – Cleveland Browns
  • Kirk Cousins – Minnesota Vikings
  • Jared Goff – Detroit Lions
  • Derek Carr – New Orleans Saints
  • Tua Tagovailoa – Miami Dolphins

Additional Votes:

  • Kyler Murray – Arizona Cardinals
  • Daniel Jones – New York Giants
  • Justin Fields – Chicago Bears

Just to be clear one statistical measure of average is the middle 50%, or the 25th-75th percentile, which for 32 teams is anyone ranked 8-24. So from this perspective Dak would be the 2nd best of the average QBs. The other way would be to look at QBR cluster groups but even there Dak has been 12th and 11th the last two years and among the average QBs.

I think Dak is good enough to win with the right talent around him, but to think that NFL folks ranking him 9th is some huge vindication of him doesn’t hold water.

Dak’s issue, in my eyes, is that he has come up small in a couple big spots. He has the team around him now. He will get a few chances to end that narrative. Let’s hope he can do it.

This list has to based on potential because I would not put Herbert or Lawrence above someone like Jackson or Prescott right now. Don’t get me wrong I like both of them and think they will be great qbs but they have 1 playoff win. Let’s see how they do in the next couple of years. I mean no one thought Brady was even going to make it in this league and he will go down as one the greatest qb if not the greatest of all time
Wins are not a QB stat and actual people who evaluate players as a job know this and do not use them as a QB stat. Lamar Jackson has been trending downwards for 3 years including not being able to finish the last 2 due to injury. Dak has also been snakebit by injury the past couple years. Meanwhile Herbert has made throws that no other QB can make and Lawrence at times last year looked like the best QB in the NFL. The big question for Lawrence is can he get more consistency and cut down on the INTs.

Yeah I don’t get looking at team wins as a way to evaluate an individual player. I sort of get that for the HOF, but even there does Eli really deserve to be in the HOF because he was above average when he had good protection and Giants had an elite pass rush?

nice spinning...basically I don't like the rankings so I am going to spin it that he is average and only second best of the average and make it a really large range too by throwing in some cockamamie statistical analysis in there to make it seem that I know what I am talking about.

so you are saying, your math holds water, but scouts, execs, coaches and GMs are clueless.

fantastic!!!

p.s.
I do agree that Dak is good enough to win with with the right team around him, which is the case for all non-Elite QBs. at this point, I consider there are only two elites. Mahomes as clear number 1 and Burrows. the rest need the right team around them.

Looks good to me too. But the gap between the top 4 or 5 and everyone else is pretty large. Plus being at the back end of a top ten says just as much about the other quarterbacks as it does Dak. I could be top 10 tallest in a room full of midgets, what does that say about my height?
what does it say? it says that the room has nothing but midgets. it is what it is and you are still the 10th tallest and thus valued for you height. basically you said that the QB situation in NFL sucks, there is top heavy 2, or 3 and that anyone standing taller than the others is valued. it is what it is. unless you go to the land of OZ and find all the tall centers that are over 7 ft and fix the height issue in the room. not sure where we can go and get all these tall QBs in the midget QB room.

This seems pretty accurate. Top 4 can win playoff games with little help. Next 4 need help but can make plays to win games. Everything after that is a bus driver who needs help and or needs lots of talent surrounding them.
I wonder if by chance they would have ranked Dak at 7, you would have made your list to be top 3, then the next 3 and then the rest needs lot of talent surrounding them?

Ah, the good ole mythical "nfl executives" poll argument.

Surely, nobody could argue against such a strong point.
as opposed to you and other Bash Dak folks who jump on the bandwagon of a joe Shmoe on a radio show saying Dak has zero chance of winning and then there is 832 pages and 45 threads about it. yeah, lets all agree to that and talk about it, but hey this NFL executives, GM, Coaches poll is just Mythical. lets just all agree to Williams preferring Romo over Dak, but nah, this is just mythical. its meaningless drivel. its "who cares". right?

It's funny that you believe and give credence to these "polls."
You probably buy whole heartedly into the NFL Network's "Top 100" too, don't you?
No, I don't. I want to hear from YOU, a complete NOBODY with ZERO NFL experience!!

I'll ask again: what do these NFL nerds know???
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2: :lmao2:

Why should we worry about what NFL coaches, scouts, execs and players think when we can ask a TOTAL ZERO like YOU instead???

I'd much rather ask a chubby dork who couldn't catch a football or get an NFL job if his life depended on it!!!

See that? Now you don't feel like a know-nothing dolt who would be laughed out of a room with NFL personnel. You're welcome!

You're right!

There's just 1 issue there...

Literally NOBODY on this board calls Dak an elite QB.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Anti-Dak dummies have to fabricate that opposite extreme so that they don't feel quite so stupid.

The reality is that us Dak supporters have slotted him IN THE EXACT SAME RANGE that NFL personnel have ranked him in.

Top 10. Good-but-not-great.

I'm so sorry. We were right YET AGAIN, according to people who are paid to know this sport.

Nice try though!!! The anti-Dak dummies loses yet again!!!

I think even some of his critics place him in the 8th-12th spot. Most fans are more in the middle on Dak. Only a few extreme haters and or trolls have Dak in bottom half.

1) Wrong. 9th-24th would be the "middle 50%", not 8-24. So Dak would the best among the "middle 50%," not 2nd-best.

2) Nobody here on planet Earth would consider being 9th-best out of 32 starters "average," but that's one hell of a spin attempt!
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The reality is that the anti-Dak idiots wouldn't dare place him in their top 10s. They've screamed all offseason that they want Dak gone, he's trash, etc.

NFL personnel just collectively slapped them upside the head and told them they don't know football. That's why they're lashing out now.

They'll never admit it, but they're learning that they don't know football.

Now either you don't bother to read the Dak drooling threads or you are victim of a CONVENIENT memory.

Yes there are a number of fans that claim Dak is elite. They are obvious to everyone else but you apparently
