They aren't worth it either. But they are younger going into their first contracts. They have an upside. We know what Dak is. He's never going to take us where we want to go. Looking at that deer in the headline look last year in the playoffs, I don't know how anyone can doubt it. The pressure will be even greater after he gets paid. Dak will get his money somewhere else. For one thing they are all significantly YOUNGER than Dak. It is almost certain that all three will exceed what Dak has accomplished.

I was here then and it was awful but I can't say the years since haven't been much better. This fanbase is a lot like Jerry. As long as we stay relevant it's okay even though we have no chance to do anything. This team is snakebitten and so are the fans. He said he has an obligation to his NFL brotherhood to maximize the contract, not an obligation to win for his team mates or Cowboys fans. Many think he wants 60M +/year.
Tom Brady took less than other QB's and has 7 rings, but Dak needs to take care of his brotherhood.

Some have said he’s the worst player at any position on the field. Others have said they couldn’t trade him for a 7th because of how bad he’s been. Y’all never stop do you?
