It's easier, or more optimistic to believe the problem is fixable, rather than to think it's organizational. There's hope if you can blame it on an individual.
The problem with a majority of this fanbase is they think the only way to fix the situation is to change QBs. Put another QB in and bingo! Putting the blame on a QB that’s been one of the best in the league the past 8 years doesn’t give you hope. Moving on from him isn’t going to provide any hope because the next challenge is going to be trying to find someone who’s better. Good luck!

You won’t be wishing him well. None of you who want him gone will want him to have success elsewhere. If he leaves and does have success with another team and we’re struggling because of our QB situation, the frustration level amongst Cowboys Nation will be like nothing we’ve ever seen.
You sound like Jerry when he tells people he doesn't want so and so to go somewhere else and have success. So instead we hang on to an average QB in hopes that the light bulb will finally turn on one day. How many more years are you willing to wait for that to happen? It's been 8 so far.......

Dak isn’t an average QB. If you honestly believe he is, football isn’t for you.

On the contrary. I will quickly forget all about Dak once he's gone. He'll only be mentioned in history discussions along with the likes of Romo, Carter, White, and the like.

If some other franchise is foolish enough to break the bank for him then that's their problem, and good for Dak's wallet. Actually, thanks for taking him off our hands so we can move on.

To KJJ it’s everyone else’s fault before Dak’s.

While other parts of the team and organization may have issues, Dak hasn’t helped in his mediocre, TO-prone play in the playoffs either, which also doesn’t help the defense either.
Dak was horrific in both Niners games and the GB game. He didn't even give his team a chance to win. Congrats, Dakota, you beat an 8-9 Bucs team with Brady having one foot out the door and that won the division by having to beat a Carolina team with an interim head coach late in the season. He was mid against the Rams and played well against Seattle, which was all the way back in 2018. Dak started out very slow against GB in 2016 trailing 21-3 and threw a crucial redzone pick, which ended up being the deciding factor in the score. He simply crumbles under pressure in the playoffs. That pretty much sums up Prescott's playoff history, and he wants 60 million or perhaps more? LOL.

Ya'll remember when a more accomplished QB, Lamar Jackson, thought he was worth more than he was?

The Ravens said "okay, try and find a team to pay ya what you're wanting".

He didn't get a single offer and came crawling back to the Ravens.
Ravens GM is smart.

Btw Lamar is 2-4 in playoffs. Not sure how much more accomplishment is that.

Exactly. Dallas is a dysfunctional team. Players and rest of NFL know that. No wo Der when Brady had a choice including Dallas, he chose the bucs knowing he wouldn't win a ring in Dallas.

What is funny about his opinions, they are circular logic. First he says we need a good QB like Dak to try and win a SB. Then when someone says that Dak needs to scoot and someone else needs a try, he will say that no matter who they bring in, it could be Maholmes they will never win the SB because Jerry and son own the team and that is why no other QB could be brought in that could win the SB. Then he says that the Cowboys should keep Dak and extend him otherwise the whole fan base will be in misery.

If no other QB can come win the SB because of JJ, then why the hell pay Dak tons of money? Crazy logic!

Tom Brady admitted years ago that he hated the Cowboys. He grew up a 49ers fan. By the way, Brady never had the choice to come to Dallas. The Cowboys weren’t interested.

It goes both ways. Maybe football isn't for you if you believe Dak is more than average.
Go find someone who gets paid to talk football that says Dak isn’t more than average. Who in the media or has played or coached the game has ever said he’s not more than average? If he isn’t more than average then why is he going to become the most sought after free agent since Deion Sanders if he becomes available? If he isn’t more than average then why is he going to become the highest paid QB in NFL history? If he isn’t more than average then why does his numbers every year compare to the best QBs in the league? If he isn’t more than average then why does he have the 5th highest passer rating in NFL history? If he isn’t more than average, then why does he have such a high career winning percentage? Football isn’t for you and you continue to confirm it.

You won’t forget about him if he has success with another team, and we struggle for years trying to find his replacement. It wouldn’t surprise me if he goes to another team and has more playoff success than he had with the Cowboys. He’s not the problem, it’s the Joneses.

So was Warren Moon’s, Dan Marino’s, and Dan Fouts. Go check out their playoff records.
You named three NFL greats but their postseason proficiency (or lack thereof) are not equal to the topic in my opinion. Arguably, all three examples were much better players as quarterbacks than Tony Romo and Dak Prescott combined.

At least two of them were clearly better (Marino and Fouts). Warren Moon got into the Hall of Fame totally because of his numbers and the championships he won in the CFL. It’s a pro football Hall of Fame not an NFL Hall of Fame so they took into account his CFL career. His playoff record was 3-7 and his career regular season record was only one game over 500. No question he was a great passer, but he had his issues in big games as much as anyone. He was part of the most historic playoff collapse in NFL history. It’s almost hard to believe a team could lose a playoff game being up 35-3 in the third quarter. It certainly wasn’t all his fault but he played a part in it with 2 INT‘s. I would honestly take Dak and Romo over Warren Moon.
