Seems like a precursor to an injury that will sideline him for the season if things start to go south.

totally agree, i'm thinking it could be the same area where he had the boot on during vacation. In dallas injuries happen, players downplay them only to find out after the season that said player had an injury that was lingering

Then perhaps it's in his best interest to sit out the season with an injury, and then let someone pay him his next fortune, versus risking stinking this season and becoming damaged goods rather than mediocre goods. I mean, what are the chances he's going to be better in year 9, and possibly without a #1 WR? Jerry appears to not be willing to do him any favors.
