Dak or Romo?

. Why did Dez not catch on with the Saints or Ravens when he left here? Why is he out the league?
Because he tore his Achilles right when he joined the saints

That’s the injury that wrecked his career

I’m pretty sure he was well over that horrific sprained ankle injury from a year or two before

All Dak has to do is win one playoff game to have more playoff wins and appearances than Romo, and if he makes it the Championship game, which looks like a real possibility if we keep the 2nd seed, then I don't see how anyone can say Romo was better. Y'all seriously overrate Romo. As of right now, I think they're pretty much the same QB but Dak has time to pass him
Romo was a helluva quarterback but, I can't forget all the times Romo choked with bad throws at the wrong times, aaannnnd...

Dak took Romo's job and sent him into retirement.... nuff said.

Romo’s done, we know the results, why it turned out this way can be debated but it’s still done.

Dak has a chance to not be Romo but that’s up to the team results.

With no SB wins the debate on who’s better doesn’t mean much, does it? If it is than I say Danny White is better then both of them.
He was I watched him through his whole career and was a great punter too

Romo was really, really good. I swear he had some of the worst defenses in history.

These crunch time collapses we've had the last couple weeks... His defenses were pretty much like that the whole game.

Now I know the root of your hatred for Dak. :)

I love threads like this. Shows everyone's true agenda.
On the flip side, not everyone is a binary (either one or the other must be true) type of thinker.

Thinking Romo would do better with Dak’s roster doesn’t mean one hates Dak … it simply can (and does for me) mean that while we may like Dak and root for his success, we do also, simultaneously and objectively hold the opinion that Romo would find greater success with this roster. Both can be true opinions we hold, simultaneously.

I do agree though, stements such as yours do show “agendas” and illustrate clearly, that in your mind, if one has an opinion that Romo would be better with this roster, they must unequivocally hate Dak. Simply not true, as outlined above, so really who here has the agenda?

A friend of mine asked me my thoughts on this subject. I asked a few friends and was a bit surprised by their reaponses. So I figured I’d ask the board. Who is the better QB?
Romo is a better quarterback, and it's really not a close call

Again, a question nobody can answer. What makes it not close?
That’s just it .. it’s all a subjective opinion that is a waste of energy to argue over on a message board … In HIS mind it’s not even close, cool, that’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it, some will agree and some will disagree, such is life.

Where this idea came from that there is some set in stone “answer “ that is somehow required to support and opinion is just wild and inherently flawed thinking .. no one owes anyone any “answer” to why they hold the opinion they hold, nor are they wrong for holding an opinion … if they care to share their line of thinking, that’s cool, but this whole idea someone owes you some answer as to why they have an opinion is pure insanity.

“Romo is better and it’s not even close” is some random dude on the internet’s opinion and that’s all the “answer” you need … even if he gave you 1000 “reasons” for holding the opinion he does, it’s likely you’d disagree with them and then what? Does that mean he hasn’t “answered” or does it just mean you disagree with the “answers” and therefore dismiss them as “answers?”

Probably explains why you say “no one can answer”

Certainly had the lowest-ranked defense in one of those 8-8 years. I think they were dead last...32rd.
That alone makes going 8-8 miraculous.

Romo reads defenses alittle better, better touch on his passes in tighter windows, more elusive in the pocket, better passer rolling out, gets more production with less talent.

Dak is more durable, tougher runner. better leader, tighter spiral.

And Romos played with more offensive talent in his career than Dak
Man, I don't even remotely agree with that.
1/2 2006-2007? yes. But overall for their careers? I don't think so.
Just having a strong oline and Zeke most of his career made life easier for Dak..... imo.
Not worth arguing about though. Again, jmo

hmm. I thought for certain this latest 'I'm right! No I'm right! Uh-Uh! Uh-Huh!' mudfest would be on page 30 by now. I will check back later.
