no they are just articles educating guys like you on how good our qb is.

if that makes you upset it’s not my fault.

Any cowboy fan would be happy to read it. What are you?

There has been 6+ years for people to form their own opinion on Dak but at the end of the day the simple fact is you and some others can't stand it when people do not agree with you about Dak and as a result get defensive and call people trolls and haters.....as if someone was making personal insults to your girlfriend or wife....which I do not think Dak is but maybe in your minds that is not the case.

Do you think 3 points in the first half is going to cut it going forward? It's the SAME EXACT THING that doomed this team against the BEST defenses and playoff teams last year.

I get it. He has some rust, but the offense as it exists currently isn't one that can save the defense, even as elite as some might think it is. We saw this against Philadelphia and Tampa Bay. The Lions showed that Dallas can be had even without arguably their best offensive player.

Rodgers could've used much more specific off-season work with his new receivers, but after losing Adams it looks like he checked out and then started complaining in public. And he doesn't like Lafleurs' motion offense. Prescott could've used more work in preseason. That, coupled with his injury in week one, has put him behind the eight ball a bit. The Cowboys need him to be the guy they saw in early 2021. THAT guy can get the team to where it wants to go with the current defense. 2018 Dak (pre Cooper) is probably not going to get it done.

So yes, if he is the elite leader that many claim then he's going to have to raise the level of this offense, which is nowhere near what it was during the first six games of last year. The key loss being Amari Cooper...the man who resurrected Prescott in 2018.
Amari Cooper "resurrected" Dak Prescott? You mean Dak Prescott who resurrected Amari Cooper. Cooper's best season came under Dak Prescott, not Derek Carr or any of the current Browns' QBs. Why hasn't Amari Cooper "resurrected" Jacobi Brissett in Cleveland? Amari is the Browns #1 receiver, yet he's averaging a paltry 60 yards receiving per game. Yuck! What's happened to the great Amari Cooper who supposedly "resurrected" Dak Prescott???

Dak himself stated he would elevate the offense as did many members on here so what is the issue when he doesn't? Why get defensive and bring Rodgers into it as a means to deflect?
Does it break your heart for me to bring Aaron Rodgers into discussion? Are you a Cowboys fan or a Packers fan? Sounds like you're a Packers fan or whatever other team as long as Dak remains the Cowboys QB, eh?

The level of owning that thunder did on Roy in this thread was historic.

On one hand you have a loudmouth 400 level fan talking in vague generalities about his top 10 qb versus a 100 level poster using stats, facts and common sense to explain and prove why Dak is more of a 22-30 qb.

My god in heaven!
While I appreciate the kudos you know very well what you're doing with that 22-30 QB comment.

I have to keep it real going both ways haha

One game means little. Cherry picking proves nothing. Bucs D is very tough.

But if you want a full season check out last year or the year before with Dak. #1 scoring offense in the NFL. Facts are stubborn things.

Funny how you say one game means little yet you are basing the thread you created, entitled "Dak Prescott Elevates Cowboys to a new Level", on 1 game against Detroit.

As it stands, Prescott had a very good first week back. He was inside the top six in both EPA/play and completion percentage over expectation (CPOE) and his QBR was just outside the top ten. Prescott also completed 76% of his passes despite leading the league in intended air yards and throwing into tight windows at the second highest rate this week. It’s wise not to overreact to one game, but this certainly looked like the Prescott fans are used to seeing.

Well certainly higher Rush (who is just proud to be here) i I’m glad he’s here also

NO, I dont care with not agreeing. And its not just me you dont agree with. Its the entire NFL players that dont agree with you. All have him as a top 10 QB. Sorry buddy, but you lose. In fact, you lost this argument years ago.

What I dont like is trolls like you spewing lies and false information. You continue to lie and troll, and I will be there to kick your troll butt all over the board with facts and stats. Enjoy!!!

qbs don’t have records teams do. Learn football.

So then I guess QB's don't get credit for ppg given it's a team game, right?

"Why would you hide the QB with the #1 scoring average in the NFL since 2020? Maybe because you are a sad troll that cant handle Dak making you look silly?"

Do you need that definition of hypocrite again?

Dont guess? You usually guess wrong. :muttley:

LOL...........so now your a team game guy? Well maybe an old dog can learn new tricks? I must be finally rubbing off on you. Good dog!! :espn:

Absolutely its a team game. But tell me, who do you think was a bigger part of the Cowboys offense being #1 in scoring? Zeke at 3.8 ypc on the year, or Dak that broke the Cowboys all time TD passing record? If you want more stats to prove how good Dak was last year, I can get them for you. Let me know troll.

Do you can’t read either?

But isn’t it telling that even a rusty Dak is better than your hero rush?

Why are you so threatened by Rush that you have to bring him up even when replying to someone that never mentioned Rush and was offering a critique of Dak that isn't out of line. I suggest you stop mentioning Rush's name so much as Dak will get jealous.

A tough defense that gave up 41 to KC, 20 to PITT, and 21 to Carolina?

They have had lots on injuries since that first week. I have their defense in fantasy and they were lights out the first few weeks. They have gone by the wayside with injuries.

Poor guy. The fact that you dont know football just keeps coming back to bite you. LOL

Not only do you not know Cowboys football, but I you seem short on other teams as well. Do you even play fantasy football? Let me guess, your too smart for that right? :muttley:

Amari Cooper had 2 1000 yard receiving seasons to begin his career in LA. He was traded to get draft picks with the Raiders in rebuild mode not because he needed his career resurrected.

Dallas panicked and spent multiple draft picks to save the QB who was setting franchise records in futility without Dez Bryant.

Dak didn’t save anybody. Amari had to yell at Dak during in Eagles game with CBs sitting on routes with no safety help over the top to throw him the ball on a simple go route. Dak had only two games with Amari, the Eagles and Commanders where he threw over 100 yards. Dak sucked at finding Amari against zone defense. 4 out of 9 games with Amari in 2018, Dak averaged in the 20 yardage category with Amari, the three other games about upper 60s.

The last 3 games starting with the Colts heavy cove 2 defense, Dak averaged 32, 20, and 31 yards and in that last game Dak targeted Amari a whopping 11 times.

Even if you go by the Rams playoff game, Amari did nothing after the 29 yard TD on yhe SCRIPTES play where he was lined up in the slot and it was a quick pass. Three completions in garbage time once again to pad his stats.

You Dak stans. always re-writing narratives.

The only thing you do with your constant emotional defense of Dak is make yourself look as though you are defending an ex in hopes of getting back together with them.

Why would I be threatened by Rush? He just helped us win 4 games.

LOL....again you reference Rush. Sad.

So you didn't create the thread title and develop a thread based upon your own biased agenda? Only a narcissist defends their own lies to the lengths that you do.

While you're right about almost all of this here, what does it matter?

Dak Prescott resurrecting Cooper is a very fair point, that's a two-way street all day. Neither was performing to expectations when that deal was made, and both came out better because of it. Cooper gets all the credit when we look back on that move, but he wasn't throwing himself the ball.

Aside from that though would anyone disagree that Brissett is not as good of a quarterback as Dak? Is that even up for debate? And I probably missed it but what does Rogers have to do with anything? The guy hasn't played very well, especially the last few weeks, and deserves his share of the blame for that offense underperforming.

Maybe I'm missing some context of the whole conversation here, but I am confused.

Only one all up with his panties in a wad is you. And why? Because someone wrote an article about how good he played?

Poor little troll. Your like a moth to the flame.

I just enjoy watching you get angry.
