Signed by Cowboys Dak Prescott on a four-year contract, $240 million extension

Cowboys are the only team that trades for trash. Maybe the Steelers.
Hmmm… and what exactly did the Broncos trade for the obviously rapidly declining Russel Wilson?
But hey, you want to go with bedwetter instead of facing the reality there’s a massive shortage to players who can play quarterback even reasonably competently in this league that’s your prerogative

I wanted him to play out the year. But also ok with this as he is our QB. I am not going to whine or complain.

This will allow everyone to focus on the season and going out to play now.
No other distractions going on now.
Lol the entire franchise is one continuous distraction

It ended up being another four-year deal. I still believe an agreement would have been made sooner if it had been a six-year deal. Then again, the AAV would have decreased as a result of that compromise.
They learned with more recent problems with older players.

In some people's minds Dak now has to go 17-0 and win the next four Super Bowls to justify this contract.
I disagree. Just win a few playoff games. Beat some good teams. Steal a few games. Don’t suck in big spots.

I laugh:

1. At the cowboys for overpaying a player by a wide margin.
2. At any fan or person who said Dak wouldn't get extended. This was going to happen. It was just a matter of when and how much it would cost the boys.

I wouldn't mind this deal if we had an owner who could manipulate that contract. Micah is next...then what? This has been my major gripe for years with this team. In a couple of years this contract will be dwarfed, but I am not confident that it won't hamstring us
