Signed by Cowboys Dak Prescott on a four-year contract, $240 million extension

How bout just win a divisional playoff game? Let's start small.
Let's get the team to do that too. If Micah Parsons wants his payday let's have him show up in the playoffs too.

Also Dak won't be the highest paid QB for long either. C.J. Stroud and Brock Purdy, for starters, are also very happy today with Dak's deal.

Goodbye Tyler Smith

So long Jake Ferguson

See ya DaRon Bland

Hahahahaahahahahhahahah

You were wrong sir.

Have a great day!

In all fairness. I’m beyond mad about this. They did nothing in FA to make it seem like he was moving on. Then signs him? What an absolute slap in the face to this fan base.
And Jerry actually trolled fans by saying "you could easily say that if you haven't seen it by now, you aren't going to". Then...highest paid player...only Jerry Jones, man.

No matter how you feel this was a move the Cowboys had to make.

Let's say this is Mike McCarthy's last season. How attractive would the Dallas job be without a quarterback that can actually win games under contract?
I am not sure about that. OL looks young and promising. 24 draft looks great. Take the 2 years of pain and develop a guy. Fans would have signed up for that. Wait until Dak chokes in a big spot. This place will be nuclear.

It's a 231m question.
Big difference between signing bonus and guaranteed. Trade we’d be responsible for the dead cap on the signing bonus … trade partner would take on the remaining guaranteed.
Example… we’re stuck paying the 5m+ that San Fran’s contract guaranteed the running QB with no concept of how to play QB!

"he is our QB"

Yea and Jerry is our owner.

If they fail MM will take the blame for a QB who can't deal with the pressure.

"Show me the money" & blame someone else for the loses.

Rinse, Repeat, and welcome to the Dallas Cowboys.

The defense did their job a couple years ago and Dak was still awful. The whole team was awful last year but Dak having his panic attack before he even took the field gave us no chance. Don't see how it's going to change no matter what happens.
