Sorry you are not feeling well Rusty!
Just got burnt out by the do nothing off season.

Now we just made Dak the highest paid player in NFL history for being a good regular season QB.
This front office is not serious about post season success.

I understand that. If the tickets are cheap enough for the Cowboys Steelers game in a few weeks, I may try to make that one. At least Pittsburgh isn't too far. I just hope I'm feeling better by then. I've been battling whatever this is for a month. Likely a nasty sinus infection.

When you sign your second contract short on years to get a second helping, it's disingenuous to then say you don't play for money and sign for the largest contract ever aav. While not technically mutually exclusive it comes off as very fake.
My point is still valid - we can't get inside Dak's head, so I'll just say it is something we can't know for sure either way....

It takes too much effort for an old part time GM to begin rebuilding looking for another Franchise QB and all of the certainty that comes with that.

He’s content with a QB that can win enough to take him to the playoffs regardless if he might not be enough for more.
Yup, I missed the game and spent time with the extended family today and enjoyed it.
Have lost a lot of interest in the boys.
Will watch them on TV when they are on , but no more sports bars.
Glad everyone enjoyed the game.
Resigning Dak at that high of a price is gonna lock us into a salary cap situation where we we will be a good not great team for the duration of the contract.

Gloat when he has playoff success.

That was the first thing out of Brady’s mouth when talking about Dak.

Don’t be the guy who cries about some part of the team being weak while also applauding Dallas signing him as the highest paid player.

Yep.

What you just saw is yet another example of why it's been nearly 30 years since we have even been close to a Super Bowl.

Dak is a good dude and I'll pull for him because I have no choice. But he's not capable to lead this team in the playoffs to success. He's been in the league almost a decade.

Just the definition of insanity.
Total bs.

The Cowboys will be an absolute failure on and off the field during the last few years of Jerry’s life. This thing is gonna start hemorrhaging fans when they miss the playoffs this season.

Absolute karma.
You need to take another look at today's game.

There’s really not a worse front office when it comes to resigning players and negotiations

I think we could have easily saved money by not playing “hard ball” and signing him before some of the other deals were signed

We just constantly put ourselves in these positions and it always results in the player getting the money anyway…
This front office has built a very good football team.

Typical Jerry, trying to steal headlines on the first Sunday. Oh well, this sucks but we should have expected it.
Sucks? You didn't enjoy the game today? You don't like having a good team? What the hell is wrong with you?

BAHAHAHAHAA!!!

Hold this L.

Tom Brady raved about Dak postgame.

NFL legends and experts keeps telling you that you don't know football, yet you refuse to let it sink in.
