Dak is elite......until the pressure builds in the playoffs. Paying him 60M a year after the way he played against GB is nothing more than a hedge against mediocrity in the regular season. There is no super bowl path here.

I doubt we will ever hear from that dude ever again, he explicity said in a post like 2 weeks ago that he would no longer follow this joke of a franchise if they gave Dak a new contract.

Sorry, but from what I have seen Dak is just the guy we got today. Beat up on a team that is missing roughly 1/2 their starting O-line and their #1 RB. No trade clause is irrelevant at this point, his contract is almost 96% guaranteed (231 / 240 guaranteed).

All that guaranteed money would accelerate into the cap all at one time if Dak was traded.

They had no choice after the recent QB contracts. Either give your starting QB a max deal or let him walk for nothing. This is Bradley Beal contracts of the NFL. Nice stats but not a first tier QB.

Once Trey Lance threw 5 picks in a preseason game against dudes that are currently working at Home Depot, the team had no choice but to pay Dak what he wanted.

That was the entire problem with all the posters that wanted Dak gone, when asked "ok, who is replacing Dak if we let him walk?"...........crickets, that is all you heard.
